    Hello mates, I'm Krida and I'm 24.

    I started Pokémon with yellow when my parents gifted me a GBC and the cartridge for making it into sixth grade. It's quite common a thing to do in France =)

    Now I'm more interested about pokemon lore and I'm catching up since I started again two years ago when Nostalgia made me buy a 3DS and XY.

    I also work for a website that organises tournaments. The links are in my signature. There's a section for ROSA and XY and the rules aren't really complicated.

    Cool thing you get a GBC for making it to the sixth grade. Pokémon Yellow is a good game, I've played it myself (although that was on an emulator) and I really like the fact that all three starter Pokémon were available. (And Agatha's ghosts could be taken out with Earthquake due to the lack of Levitate!)

    I find Pokémon lore really interesting. Are you also the type of person that reads all the PokéDex entries? You should definitely check out Pokémon General .

    I have to say I'm not a very competitive player myself, but your tournaments look interesting. PokéCommunity has its own Battle Server, this might be a nice place to chat about Pokémon and battling. There is also a French room there, in case you get bored in talking English.

    Of course you can always send me a message if want to chat or just happen to have a question.

    There are many friendly people and more sections.
    A section I like is Pokemon Trivia! Or you like challenges you can check Challenge Section.
    A great section for you can be Pokemon XY section, where you can talk with other XY players.
     
    Hiya Krida! Big welcome to PC. :) Pokemon lore is one of the best parts of the franchise, agreed, though I don't read up on it as much as I should. There is plenty to discuss here overall when it comes to Pokemon so I'm sure you'll have a splendid time! Seems like you're a pretty big Pokefan from the looks of things.

    Hello there Krida, and nice name you have there!

    As the others said, there's lots of different sections to explore although I think H.A.N. got your main interests covered. PC's Showdown server is an active place to battle and chat with fellow members, and maybe I might catch you there someday but I'm not a good battler myself so only expect me chatting over there. Awesome to hear that the 6th Generation got you back into Pokemon, especially given how many people got disappointed in the last two generations which in my opinion weren't that bad, but that's just me I guess.

    I started with pokemon yellow too; those were great times, huh?! I remember trying to beat the elite four with a rag tag group of pokemon, which was difficult at the time, but we made it through! And thinking about it, it was how I made my first friends! Ah, I hope that you've managed to gather some great memories about the games! Happy to have you indeed~!

I think I gotten more in the swing of pokemon when X&Y came around, because you know the features it has? It made them really innovative for people to connect and trade with others! It's sooo cool! I hope the pokemon games can only improve from there myself. :3
