Inside this Pokeball is a Cloyster which will clamp to yo... nevermind. :P
So we all know the standard gameplay of Pokemon. Walk around, battle people and grow stronger in order to be the best like no one ever was. But what if the gameplay was different. What if, instead of the game being your standard RPG game, that it was focused around the Racing genre, or the FPS genre. Questions which will always baffle us.
If Pokemon was a different genre of gaming, what would it be and how would it play out?
If I had to choose Pokemon to take a totally different path, I'd make it take more Portal 2, cross with a similar feel to Pokemon Ranger. Like, you would have to capture Pokemon using their weaknesses and just other things, and then you could use their power in a sense of clearing through puzzles, which in this case would be forests and caves etc. Gym leaders would reward you for clearing a gym battle, which would be a puzzle, while fighting their Pokemon at the same time or something.
