Hello there to all Pokecommunity member!

My name is JeremiahSim (and it's the same in real life except with space between them) and I'm relatively new to the ideas about registering onto a forum/website/blog stuffs although I've been having internet since 5 years ago but I'm mostly just lurking around the internet! :)

I've been watching Pokemon anime when I was a kid although I never truly finished it, at that time it was the Indigo League and that would be like when I was just an infant! But by 2010 I've received a Nintendo DS and then a Pokemon Black/White as a gift and that's when my interest in Pokemon got resurrected (and talk about nostalgia)! Ever since getting the DS and Black/White I've been lurking around Pokemon websites such as Serebii and Smogon for example for the sake of watching people talking about metagame and competitive gameplay (sadly I had no WiFi so no online battle for me). But that probably sums up that I probably wouldn't know too much about Pokemon sadly (especially anything before than Gen 5)...! xD

Please do provide criticism or warnings if I had done something wrong or broke some rules on the forum! I will see to it that I will not make the same mistakes again! :D

Without further adieu, I wish all the people in Pokecommunity Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! (a little bit to early to say that, haha)

Hey Jeremiah welcome to PC! I'm glad you finally decided to make an account instead of lurking all the time.

It stinks that you can't do online battling, especially now that the wi-fi servers are down for DS/Wii now. :(

About time you joined, since it's much more fun to actually be getting involved as opposed to just lurking. It's really nice to meet you by the way, Jeremiah!

I used to watch the anime myself when I was younger, but I have been quite inconsistent with keeping up lately. But nice to see you get back into Pokemon with Black & White! The 5th Generation was really cool and had so many memorable moments and awesome character designs, man it felt really cool to have that experience. And yeah it was sad to see the DS/Wii servers closed, meaning you essentially need a 3DS/Wii U to play online these days. Hopefully you do have a 3DS and the 6th Gen games for all that online stuff.

And from what I've seen in your intro, you haven't broken any rules so nothing to worry about right now. But aside from that, I hope you have an amazing time here at PC! Feel free to shoot a visitor message if you want anything!

PC is pretty easy to get into so I'm sure you won't have problems so long as you read through the rules and ask questions if you're confused. Welcome, Jeremy! Great choice deciding to join up here with us. :3

The competitive scene has grown a lot bigger now with the sixth generation games so it's a perfect time to dive into that if you have WiFi. But if you don't we also have a fantastic Pokemon Showdown server to check out if you're ever interested in battling over a simulator; that's pretty popular around here and we'd love having you participate in the future. Do you have a preferred battling tier you'd like to try out? I mostly do random battles but NU/UU are also really fun. Just.. staying away from OU and Ubers for as long as possible, I'd end up getting destroyed lool.

Anyways, will try not to ramble too much. 8D; Stick around and hope you'll be here for a long while!

Yeah, I too, watched pokemon when I was younger, and I adored the series; even today sometimes I go back to rewatch old episodes of the classic pokemon series! But I'm glad to hear your interest regained with the 5th gen; they weren't bad pokemon games for the time! We're also happy to help you out with any competitive-related pokemon topics at anytime, you can hop on our server and go on the battling section! <33
