    Hey guys, my name is Forrest. My favourite hobby is to remake my favourite games the way I like them, and I'm currently working on a Pokemon project!

    Hey Forrest,

    Welcome to PC! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do. I'm assuming the misspelling is because Forest was taken, or is it a personal touch? Either way, it's cool. ;)

    If you're interested in remaking games or fiddling around with ROMs in general, then be sure to check out our very own ROM hacking section - PC is famous for churning out top quality ROM hacks - Light Platinum, Flora Sky, Pokemon Glazed are the recent award winning ones among many others. As a result, I'm sure you'll find many skilled ROM hackers that will be able to assist you in any area you many need help in. Good luck with your Pokemon Project, I'll be looking forward to the completed product.

    Hey there Forrest, welcome to PokeCommunity and good to meet you!

    Are you working on a ROM hack or non-hacked game? We have areas for both of those things here so you're covered either way, just a tad bit curious hah. Good luck and hope to see you post something awesome for the members in the future. I admire all the game-makers here who have the knowledge and patience to create all of these amazing things.. not something I'd personally ever be able to do, lol. :(

    Hello Forrest, and welcome! If you came here for hacks and fangames you definitely picked a great forum to do just that.

    If your specialty is in hacks, the ROM Hacking boards are where you'll want to go, while if you're using programs like Game Maker, then Game Development is the section for you. Both have really great tools you can use to create your games, and hopefully you can show them off for your fellow PC members to see! Sadly I'm not good at it as much as I thought, but making games surely is an awesome hobby.

    Have a great time with us, and you can always seek assistance from a staff member whenever you need to get around. Good luck with the project, by the way!

    Hey guys,

    Thanks! I'm NOT making a ROM hack or RPG Maker game, but rather starting out from scratch. I've got a post in the Game Development section which is titled [Question] Pokemon 2D Game (C++). My post has the details on what I'm using and etc.

    Despite the promising outlook, don't expect anything for at least a few months at least. I'll get there. Someday.
     
    Coolio! I wish you really good luck on that project of yours! Our game developers here are always on hand, willing to help, should you need it, on the appropriate boards of course! And you know, I hope to see what your project entails! I'm sure all of the PC community will enjoy it too; just work hard, and good things will happen. :3
