I'm stuffed.
I tried to change the pallete with 7 and 13 to get darker tiles but...

You don't have to change it. Just use the same level.

Pallete 13 is not used in-game, you must be using an old version of A-Map. You can only use palletes 0-12.
 
Eh...I'm using 1.9.0...
Well, what pallete SHOULD I replace?
The others LOOK random but seem like they could have important stuff....x.x
 
I was wondering where i could find a good guide on how to use AM and possibly a newer version of it (mine is really outdated and most of the sites i go to i just get em in spanish). I have checked youtube for guides but they are not incredibly helpful with the more advanced stuff.

Just replace the original colours. Or use an empty pallete.

AM is pretty easy to use. Try checking some tutorials here. They are in Documents/Tutorials.

You can't import them directly from D/P to FireRed. There are several Tutorials avaible here try looking in those.
 
well wha tkind of rombase do you need...snow, sand, shiny tiles...you have to be specific on what you want

For AM, go to the Toolbox. There will be a thread titled "Release- Advance Map 1.90/1.91/1.92 or something. 1.92 there is the newest one.
For the tut, go to the Documents and Tutorials and go to "Advance Map Tutorial" by Neti. It covers everything, really. It includes some stuff you might not think there would be...

Now...I have a problem...
See, I made two new maps. A new house and that house's basement.
I create warps on AM which go to the right warps.
The one into the house works perfectly.
The one down to the basement goes to a black screen.
What am I doing wrong? (God...that made me sound so noob...)

Theres a number of different possibilities. It could be a level script or the map/tileset being corrupt. Its most likely though that you have set one of your people to "Hidden", there are several "Hidden" in the movement options and one of them I can't remember which causes the game to crash. Another possibility is that you've set a person to "Look Down" I can't remember what it does but you're not supposed to use it. Use "No Movement" instead.

For your first thing, there are no level scripts.
For the second, could that person be on another map?
For the third, it IS on "No Movement"
 
You need Advance Map 1.92
You can download in w.a.h
 
I can't access the Spriters Resource for some odd reason; does anyone know anywhere else where I could find the map sprites for D/P?
 
Click on "New Map" (the funny Sun and Map thingo at the top)
For the tileset, I think 0 is the normal outside one...
Then, once the map's ready, click "Insert Map" (next to it)
Choose the bottom one (reserved map) and it should insert with a message
"Successfully inserted as map <bank>.<map>"

So...yah
 
I want to change sprites Cynthia (outside battle) with Overworld Editor.
Can Iyou help me about this.
 
Hey guys. I have a question...

I'm trying to put a bridge on a map:

I've sort of learned how to get it so you can walk on it to the other side, and walk underneath it, but the problem is, the tile had to either be on top or under the player... so when he walks under and above it'll be the same... how would you make it so when he walks under it is above him, but when he walks over it it below him?

Note the bridge is just a test.
