    Who else loves this show?
In my opinion, it was better in its first season, but I still make time to watch it every Monday.

    I think they're both great!
I loooove this show, but I missed the last 2 eppys. :(

O.. MG. Is there a way for you to catch back-episodes? (Does NBC host back-eps for their series' online like ABC does?) A lot happened in the past 2 eps. The Takezo character was re-introduced as a character in present time, and the mystery of what happened to Peter and Nathan (between the two seasons) was answered.

It's on tonight! Yay!! I wanna see what goes down with Gabriel/Sylar.

I do, but I hate judging how good a season is until it is over. Plot developments, you knowwwww?

That said, if I ever start an anime, I watch it all the way through, at least the season I started. I am not judgemental and I am very patient with series.

So.... We all know who is getting shot, right? If you don't rewatch season 2 XD

Point taken, though pre-conceived. Fact is, an engaging series should not require its audience to wait half a season to generate interest (no matter what show that is).

Believe you me, I know a thing or two about patience. (I'm a fan of Serial Experiments Lain.) My favorite stories require high degrees of patience, but I can still admit that their deliberate paces are a potential flaw (there are better ways to make characters more endearing, which is the primary reason for such things other than filler).

Still yet, your defense is commendable. But don't think that I'm hating on Season 2, because I'm not. I was hooked enough on the show to start a thread about it after all. If you notice, I wasn't passing judgement on the current season. I was only commenting on evoked feelings relative to the past season (and when a season is halfway through, such feelings are considered valid). It's undeniable that the formula of the show has been altered, and reactions to such things are sure to generate a variety of opinions. None are right or wrong, they are just opinions. Official judgements are, yes, reserved for the conclusion of a season or the entire show itself.

    I do!

Season Two's started off a bit slow. The beginning wasn't as good as it could have been and dragged on slightly in a few episodes. Otherwise I'm very happy with how it's gone, leading on from Season One. However, that writer's strike in the US is seriously too coincidental with timing of this season. D: I wish Heroes Season Two wasn't finishing this early (December 3rd if you don't already know).

Postponing half the proposed season is disappointing but at least we've been getting some decent action in the last few episodes and can expect something big for the finale according to Tim Kring.

I just wonder when they will release Season Three after this. Will we have to wait another year?? I certainly hope not.

I hope the wait's not as bad as LOST (which will resume in February after a 10-month hiatus; the other show I'm addicted to).

The last 2 eps were great. I'm a big Sylar fan (I'm curious to see where they take his story). Did you know he's playing the young Spock in the upcoming Star Trek movie? Brilliant.

O.o Someone who actually knows patience when watching a show. Lord knows, everyone I recommend an anime to is impatient. I usually recommend Last Exile which is slow to start :(

I so know what you mean, LoneWolf. I hypothesize that it's attributed to modern culture (particularly in America), which is fast-paced and about instant gratification (fast food, plastic surgery, owning the latest model of everything).

One more hour 'til it's on! (I live in the Pacific time zone.)

I'm guilty of instant gratification except for stories. I have taken time in the past to find out that really great stories can develop slowly at first, but with increasing momentum as each page is turned, or each episode passes. It is just one of many style you can develop a story.

I must say, I like those beginnings more than something that places you immediately in the action.

I heard there's this new show coming on after heroes, to try to slow down the wait for heroes fans, called Heroes Origins...

That was meant to come before Season 2, well be the start of it. They've postponed in to April IIRC.

w00t for heroes!! I've only gotten to watch the first 2 episodes but my firend is gonna let me borrow the 1st season from him. I cant wait, this show is good!

Actually, it was supposed to show during the hiatus between volumes 2 and 3, which were originally one season. It got delayed for some reason I can't remember.

@everyone: And if you haven't noticed *coughslowcough*, I'm a big Heroes fan. :D

One of my favorite shows. My favorite character is Claire.

Can't wait for the season finale next Monday.
