Good day everyone! My name is Matt and I am 27 years old. I live in Pennsylvania. I joined this community because I am on a search for new friends with the same interests as me. I've played Pokémon since the release of Red and Blue. My first Pokémon was Bulbasaur and he still remains my favorite to this day. I have been training my 4 year old daughter on her games for a few weeks now. She's a pro and apparently loves Charmander. Ha ha!

Hi Matt, welcome to PC! ^_^ Always great having new faces. Really cute that your daughter's into Pokemon, I hope my children will also like it if I ever end up having any. Bulbasaur and Charmander alike are good choices so you both have awesome taste... ahh the memories of starting up Red and Blue versions as a kid, guh. Really does bring me back.

Really awesome you're introducing your daughter to the Pokemon series as well, it's always fun when you get the family involved and I'm sure she will learn a lot from you and eventually grow into a skilled player herself. Bulbasaur is a really nice fave you have, it's always been one of my fave 1st Gen Grass-types plus Mega Venusaur is so amazing competitively as well. Given you're a veteran Pokemon fan, I think you'll enjoy all the Pokemon sections around here but feel free to explore and see what interests you!

We actually have a lot of members with the same Pokemon interests, ohoho. I've been playing since Red/Blue/Yellow too, and yeah, loads of fond memories! I love Bulbasaur; my first starter was Squirtle, but Bulbasaur made the game sooo much easier, haha. Anywhooo, cool that you've been showing your daughter the ropes! I plan on showing my kid the ropes too, if I have one. :3
