Hey You, Pikachu(N64)

Ah yes, I remember Hey You! Pikachu!

I still have it, I haven't played it in ages though :(

I always wondered if this game had an ending or not, as it seemed to go on and on.

I never could beat any of the Bulbasaur levels either :<

Wow, I remember that game. It was my first N64 game, and my first game beaten I believe. If you ask me, it was probably one of the best games for N64 at the time.

oh i remember when this game came out. i loved it. i would tell the pikachu off and yet it still loved me =/

I love that game so much. Sometimes it would get annoying though. Like when you hqad to collect ingredients for Bulbasaur. Pikachu NEVER listens to me.

It's pretty fun to pick on him sometimes, too.

this is one of my favorite games! i remember getting it with a Pikachu-themed N64 for Christmas about 6-7 years ago. i still have AND play it now, although not often cuz i got Brawl. i still have unfinished business on that game, like completing my fishing list. everything still works perfectly, although the yellow ball thingy that goes on the mic is gone now. i remember when i first beat that game, and even getting so sad as to cry when it said Pikachu had to go back to Viridian Forest forever (i was 8, don't be hating), and just lit up when Pikachu came back. i also got a big fluffy Pikachu doll/pillow that Christmas, and i still have that too.

ah... the memories...

also, i heard a rumor that if you catch every Pokémon you can get in the fishing places, you can get a Squirtle. is that true?

That game was fun as hell. Bulbasaur ticked me off, though, always tellin' me to get the ingredients that were hard to find, and then Pikachu would eat them when I tell it to give them to Magnemite. I don't think I ever made the soup things successfully. Getting big fish was fun, and the beach was nifty, too. I also remember a place where you had to pull up and water Oddish and make them evolve, and sometimes you'd get a 'strange radish' instead.

I liked the stuff in the yard, like the corn you could get Pikachu to zap into popcorn, and various treasures. The funniest thing in that whole game, though, was the tissue box in the bedroom. Sometimes Pikachu would throw tissues everywhere, and if you did it just right, you could get it to pick one up and eat it! Fun times...

i remember renting this game when it first came out and getting mad as hell and at the same time jumping up and down with excitement. first of all, it had amazing graphics for its time and there was a lot of free roaming time, i hated having to do quests or other stuff. But all that talking into the mic and waiting for pikachu to get it annoyed me, so I loved and hated it.

It wasn't for sale in Europe, so I remember buying it online  it was annoying because I had to buy a USA/UK adapter </3

I loved it :D :D it was super fun :)

The problem was, I used to have a lisp as a kid (I still have one now, just not as noticeable) and couldn't pronounce s's very well -____- so it stressed me out a bit when I was trying to talk to him. I also have a strong welsh accent =)) not a good mix </3

2 bad I dont have an N64....but the closest thing 2 this game is Channel so I'll play that

Is there a way to emulate the mic or use voice recognition devices for an emulator? I would also like to know.

Very fun game. ^.^
Still have It but on emulator and I might just go back to play It becuase It's one of the best Pokemon Spin-Off Games.

Ooh, I loved this game!
I remember whining to my parents about getting it, but it was too expensive. xD And then I found it lying on the floor at a 90% off closing sale at K-Mart, so I snatched that up.
I remember being frustrated because I was missing one more pokemon for the fishing game.. and I cried at the ending. xD

This was a great game that I spent hours playing. Dunno how it got a bad rep, it was one of the most entertaining games on the N64.
