i like rock climb and i taught it to my snorlax.... was that a bad move, what is the max base power of the move return
and i dont want to hear the body slam argument... paralyzation is only useful to me on legendaries or in wifi because most of the time you are probably going to ko the pokemon and move on

Idk what the exact max power of Return is but I know it's definitely stronger than Body Slam, rock climb, etc.

Of course that depends on it's happiness.

What're some good training spots? I have 7 badges, and I'm at the Radio Tower.

At this point, Ice Path would be the best place for you to train. (It's on the way to Blackthorn, and you can use the Pokémon Center in Blackthorn to heal up as you train)

The formula for damage dealt through Return is:

Base Power = Happiness / 2.5

The maximum base power is 102.

According to Marriland, the base attack power for Return with the Pokemon's max Happiness at 255 is 102.

What's the best place to train a level 21 Mantine so I can stand a chance against Jasmine? I'm sick of level 16 Rattatas.

Try Route 47 and Route 48, there is no Rattata's there. (I think) and there are trainers (and Wild Pokemon) that are level 19-21. :D

Miltanks would give you some decent EXP too, I think, and so would Tauros. I -think- she's on Route 38, 39, and 48. Also, if you're talking about 47 and 48, there's also Girafarigs and Glooms and the occasional Vulpix and Fearow as well.

On Route 38 and 39, I ran into a bunch of Magnemites (dunno if your Mantine could handle those well, but those were decent EXP from what I recall), Meowths (not so great EXP but pretty harmless), Tauros, Miltank, and maybe Raticate (who gives better EXP than Rattatta).

All of these guys and gals run in the level range of the high teens, BUT if you take Route 47 and 48 - the pass to the Safari Zone - and you haven't battled the Trainers there, be warned - the battles are double battles and some of them have some pretty decent Pokemon.

... Which reminds me... I need to trade someone for a Mantyke since I'm on the Soul Silver game.

I dunno about you, but is Mantine really the best Pokémon to handle Jasmine? I mean, I dunno how good an idea it is to build one specialised fighter against Steelix. =|

Mantine should potentially OHKO a steelix with surf, but you do have to watch out for the magnemites.

Where's the person who tells you your hidden power type?

Where do i go to extract my Fossils?
Im pretty sure its in the pewter city museum! There is a scientist in the museum who will revive a player's fossil if you talk to him!

Fossils can only be found in the Ruins of Alpha or Cliff Cave IIC. Kabuto/Omanyte and Aerodactyl can be found at the Ruins of Alph, and Lileep/Armaldo can be found at Cliff Cave. Hope I helped. :)

Thanks ^.-
Um.. where's the best place to look for fossils?

It's just up to pure luck I think, although I must say I've found a few fossils in Rock Tunnel and in Cianwood.

Can somebody give me a list of dates for events over the Wifi in Europe?

So far, the only scheduled Wi-Fi event was the Pikachu-coloured Pichu, as far as I know.

Nope.

There is currently an ongoing Wi-fi event, the Yellow Forest. This has Pikachus that can know either:

Volt Tackle
Fly
or Surf

It ends on May 5th, so get a move on if you want it!

And, honestly, Mt. Silver sounds naff if I'm honest...

Ah, you're right! (How did I forget Yellow Forest?!)

On the contrary, Mt. Silver is great for training due to the wild Pokémon being Lv. 40 +.
