    Hi folks, new to the forum. Always enjoyed pokemon games and especially pokemon hacks.


    Of which Im sure you all have been inundated with noobs after making there first pokemon game etc etc. but whats one more, and I think I have an interesting idea. But what secton of the forum would be best to get advise on such things?

    Are you looking for ways to start creating a Pokemon hack? If so, check out the ROM Hacking category - it'd be the best place to start. You can begin by stopping by the Beginner's Lounge as it's the go-to board for people new to hacking or those that aren't sure how to get their ideas off the ground. Lots of knowledgeable people to help you out along the way as well, given the size of the hacking community here. :) Good luck!

    But yes, welcome to PC, yngair. Hope you'll stick around and make something awesome for us all in the future. Is that your primary area of interest or do you plan to stop by other places on PokeCommunity too? You can do a lot here from joining clubs to speculating about Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire so stick around and enjoy your time!

We all definitely hope you stick around for a long time to come and get everything you need from ROM Hacking and this website in general. :) So tell us more about yourself! Which Pokemon games have you played? And which one would you consider your favorite?

    thanks for the comments and the direction on where to get started, the hacks where the primary reason I joined, but I see no reason to limit myself to just that.

    I have played most of the older Pokemon games, less of the new ones, more into playing hacks. currently playing through pokemon reborn. As far as my favourite goes it would be the remakes of the older games, nostalgia and everything.
