The fanfiction/writing board's happy having new faces so I'm really glad you're going to participate. Will your story be Pokemon-based? I tend to write a lot of those myself but usually end up keeping them stored away on the computer. They're more for me to read back on than to show others (except for a select few people, lol). Can't wait to see what you have to show us!

Thanks for the welcome. The story will be Pokemon based. Hopefully I'll get it started tonight, I have a few ideas, I just have to get them all worked out. Haha.

Writing a story can get stressful but you should have the dedication to get it done and shown to the world, and if you ever need a break from the stress that comes with writing you can check out other parts of the forums as well. Lots of variety here so there should be something you might want to poke around.
Have a great time and I'm sure you will stick around so you can get your story done, and if you need help don't hesitate to ask around! The staff are always happy to assist when needed, but yeah have fun and catch you around soon!
