    Hi eveyone!

    I'm OGProfRowan (just call me Rowan) and I've been playing pokemon since I was a kid. I did walk away from it for a few years but got back into it right before X/Y and now I love the entire community and more. I also play smogon PU and UU

    I really want to get into ROM hacking. I have a dream of having my own fanmade game and I believe that I can get it done.

    But it's good to be here and I'm looking forward to all the people I'll meet :')

    Hey Rowan, awesome username! Welcome to the site, I've been playing Pokemon on and off since I was a kid myself. What's your favorite game? My favorite in Pokemon Gold, but I really like most of the games. I'm thinking about getting back in competitive battling as well, my favorite modes to play besides randbat is actually UU.     Welcome to PokéCommunity! ROM Hacking is a ton of fun, so go check out the tutorials and dive in! Making a full hack is a lot of work but if you have the dedication then you can do it no problem.

    My favorite game has to be gen 3 Ruby, that's when I really started appreciating pokemon and the game itself. And thanks!

    A lot of people want to make their own hack and there are very few forums out there with as many resources as us.. so you're in a good place. n~n Nice to have you, Rowan!

    Heck yes R/S/E were great. I'm horrendously biased hahaha. The third generation's one of the most popular ones to hack too and I've always had a soft spot for hacks made with those as a base since I loved them so much.

    That aside, see you and hope your new year has been off to a good start so far!
