I really love difficulty / enhancement hacks mostly, I believe my fav atm is BlazeBlack/VoltWhite 2 Redux, it strikes the right spot for me between difficulty and fun

While I've yet to play any ROM hacks myself, I fully understand the enjoyment of challenging games! Have you ever tried Pokemon Reborn? I've heard from my friend that it's really hard, but also quite a fun fan game(? I think it's a fan game? I'll go with fan game). Do you have a favorite Pokemon Typing?

Welcome to the Pokecommunity! If you like difficulty hacks; I've heard Pokemon Radical Red is excellent, if a bit hardcore.

Tried it but, while i recognize the huge work the creators have done with it, I really don't like hacks that just throw in legendary mons everywhere just to give a sense of difficulty when they don't even have any reason to actually be in the enemy team, idk it just takes away the fun for me, and unfortunately radical red does this A LOT .-.

Hi there :)

I do, I plan to start a new Scarlet run once the Indigo Disk drops, the official games are still fun to me to try and make them more challenging or to try new teams and mons in more casual gameplays.
