    Hi everybody! Here is my obligatory intro! :D I'm Jessica (Call me Jess!), I'm 25 and have 2 children of my own (1 and 4 years old.) I've been playing pokemon since Red and Blue! I even still have the special pikachu gameboy color! So yeah. That's about it. I'm playing pokemon Y right now, and my husband play pokemon X (We're a dorky family.) My son turns four in less than a month and has decided on a pokemon birthday party! :D

    I like to read almost as much I love Pokemon. I alternate playing The Sims 3 with Pokemon when my kids are sleeping.
    Now, that's really it. My friend code is on my profile, feel free to add me if you have X and Y. I've started a new game though so just don't expect fantastic trades at the moment. I'll add my White and White 2 friend codes when I get new games started in preparation for the Pokemon bank and link transfer!

    Yay for Poke-families! <3 I totally approve haha. Hopefully if I have kids I'll be able to get 'em into the franchise even if it's just a little. Welcome to PC as well, Jess, and fantastic to meet you.

    If you're a gamer I recommend the Video Games board as well as the Pokemon X & Y board, of course. The X & Y section has a friend code sharing thread at the top so if you're interested in befriend people for your game then that'll be the best place to do so. Plenty of peeps use it so you're more than welcome to drop by! It's especially recommended if you're on the hunt for specific friend safaris. :o Though I don't imagine you'll be needing that anytime soon as you've started a new file.

    Cheers and have a blast here! Be sure to stick around and perhaps your husband can join us in the future, yeah? Might be wishful thinking but that would be cute. :) Let the staff know if you need aaanything!
     
    Hi Jess! Aw, sooo cute that you have kids; I hope that my own kids will like pokemon as much as I do! I'm sure pokemon will be an ongoing franchise, and I hope the kids will love on what is coming up. <33

    Ohh, definitely check out Pokemon X&Y for discussion about those pokemon games! There are loads of members who are into the games as well, and I'm sure that you'll love meeting them! And yup, there's always the trade section for trades, and the Video games section for the discussion of video games, which I am one of the moderators of, so, I'll be thrilled to see you there!

    Thanks so much! I'm already happy that I decided to sign up, as I'm usually just a lurker!
    And I grew up with a multitude of cousins and two younger brothers who all LOVED pokemon, so it was just natural to share it with my own kids. I'll tell him happy early bday, and I'll throw in one for my daughter as well. Her bday is in a little over a week. She'll be one. He'll be four at the end of March! Lol. I'll definitely check out the friend safari section when I get closer to that part of the game. I'm just now going through reflection cave on the way to my third badge.

    Surprisingly, this go 'round I'm enjoying doing some breeding and gts trading (though the wonder trade is pretty cool too. I got a Zorua earlier today on there!) I've nearly gotten all of the starter pokemon from every generation. :) anywho, thanks so much for the warm welcome!

    Hi Jess, nice to see you bringing up a Pokemon-loving family there. Not something I get to see every day, but you made a great decision to join our community since we are a very active community in general.

    As my good friend Sheep suggested, the X & Y section is definitely a great place to check out right now given the friendly nature the new generation provides thanks to stuff like the PSS and Wonder Trade, which has completely unexpected trades. Sadly I'll never get to use those features but it seems kinda addicting when you catch loads of fodder to send over Wonder Trade and you get something boring or even awesome in return. I'm really hooked on Pokemon Amie though, it's definitely my fave feature of X/Y, the customization as well.

    Anyways, I wish an early happy birthday to your son, and do have loads of fun here at PC. I'm always open for a chat or friend request so don't hesitate to visit my profile anytime you like. I'll be seeing ya around okay? Have fun!
