It's not so much a matter of holding on to the past as worrying about the state of the present. When I was here, I was always very welcoming to new people (I abhorred the term n00b and things of that nature), and I'm glad to see that there is still life here. Regarding the gigantic influx of new people since my time, I'm by no means upset about it. I'm just hoping that this generation will treat PC and each other like mine did (that is, until my generation tore it apart.)
I can't help but miss the way things were at times, but I do try to be an optomist, and I would my no means condemn PC for any changes. I did condemn it in the past, but that time is gone. The point of this post was just to get a pulse of PC, to attract a cross-section of its inhabitants into replying and, thus, summing up today's PC for me. I'm actually just curious right now. But, Mihara, thanks for replying. I just hope that I've now cleared up that I wasn't trying to sound bitter. ^_^
