6th Gen HOENN CONFIRMED

Even though I was already a huge fan of Hoenn, seeing it in 3D really changed my opinion about it, so I'm glad that I'm not alone in this thought.

I wonder if people can say the same for Sinnoh, though.
I loved Sinnoh so much, during that generation I felt the most connected to players and the world. It was to the point that when I would take the my two trains and a bus to school everyday there were so many players I met on the train who I traded and battled with all the time whenever me happened to meet on the same car. It was so amazing to me. The region was my favorite as well next to Johto. I cannot wait to see Sinnoh in full 3D on the NX I hope. I hope more people grow to love Sinnoh too. Seriously can't wait to hear the updated music in those remakes too whenever they come out.

i wasnt surprised at all. Its a production patturn. After sun and moon we can expect refurbished gen 4 games in 2018, unless they do a 3rd installment of sun and moon in 2017, then it will be gen 4 in 2019. I dont think they will be doing a 3rd installment for sun and moon or x/y untill they've remade gen 4 and 5. I bet they are saving Z for 2022.

Do you think there will be SINNOH CONFIRMED headlines everyone once they announce the remakes? Why do you think they're saving Kalos for a game way in the future instead of... waiting for its turn to be remade?

I wasn't really sure. I figured we would, but at the same time, I wouldn't have been surprised if we didn't since Pokemon from RSE can still make it to gen VI, unlike RBY and GSC Pokemon. But of course, I'm more happy with the remake than without. I think they did a great job with them and they introduced a lot of great things I hope they end up keeping for future generations.

I remember alot of people here dissed me when I said Hoenn's remake was a sure thing :P

And yes, I was anticipating the remade a lot, even before they made any official annoucement for it.

I don't think it was a bad idea to have the remade in generation 6, neither. It was a good nostalgic-visit back to Hoenn after our journey in Kalos.

I am hopeful that within the next 2 generations, we should probably hopefully have a Sinnoh's remade too.
Another new updated Distortion World would be epic.

I didn't really follow the news at all so I can't say whether I was surprised or not, but I do know that I am incredibly glad they did. I think that ORAS are probably my favourite games in the series (at least until FireRed and LeafGreen get remade xD) so yeah, I'm good!

Well, I've been wanting to get Hoenn remake for some time long before ORAS was revealed, I think it was when Black and White were released, and when it sadly it didn't make it on 5th Gen, I'm still hoping a bit by imagining how would it look like, and also putting some Hoenn Confirmed memes 'cos I want it to really happen.

And I didn't expected it to be announced when I was checking some online game guides on a particular day back then, but at least I'm glad it's finally happening after such long wait.

I for some reason dont think they are going to do that whole 3 game gen thing anymore. Based on their patturn, it looks like they are just going to release 2 games for each new generation. After each generation, based on patturns they will release a remake of the oldest gen that has yet to have a remake. Its hard to say though, they can get somewhat random at times. This system would produce the most revenue though as it would keep interests peaked by the poke community. I personally am dieing to get my hands on a diamond/pearl remake, or even the originals as i dont have those in my collection ><.

i realize B/W had 4 games, but the B/W2 games were different. They were follow ups, but new games entirely. They put a lot more effort in to The B/W games then they did with other generations, with the exception of the original green game, because it also had a whole line up of new original pokemon. I figure they made a whole 2 more games on the generation because of the amount of work they put in to making all those new pokes. The whole generation was all new pokes. I think they had eevee and shuckle in BW but that was it.

I never doubted there would be remakes. I'm also so glad they skipped over the fifth gen and released it in the sixth. I thought the fifth gen looked really bad, overly pixelated is the best way I can describe it.
