[Intro] Hope you all are doing well! ^^

Hello hi everyone who eventually decides to come and greet! My name is KarmaBound, or you may call me Karma for short. Alternatively Artycun or Arty :^

What introduced me to this place was in fact a romhack called Pokémon Inclement Emerald! Hoenn has to be my favourite regions, thanks to my family showing me Emerald and Omega Ruby. (Those two being my first pokémon games.)​

I've poked and prodded around here a little before I decided to post here, still kinda getting the hang of things but this way of doing things is fun! :D​

Anyways, I hope I get to have fun and talk with a bunch of people around! Everyone just seems so nice and cool.​

Welcome to the forums! ^^ My first game was Pokemon Emerald (and Leaf Green) as well! Even though the Hoenn region does have it flaws, I still find it to be one of the most beautiful and most fun regions to explore to this day as well! uwu

What team did you use during your first playthrough of the games? I remember picking Torchic and not being able to beat Roxanne, so I reset and picked Treecko the second time around, then solo'd the whole game with my Sceptile, haha.

I watched a playthrough of Inclement Emerald on YT recently. Looks really fun! We got a long list of other awesome hacks to check out if you don't already know :3 I personally prefer custom region hacks myself, but those are few and far in between because of the gargantuan amount of effort that needs to be put into them. Unbound, Gaia, Light Platinum, and Glazed all have special places in my heart.

Hoenn's a great region to begin your Pokemon journey with~ I personally started with Sinnoh on Pokemon Diamond, and Emerald was the third mainline game I ever played (after HGSS). Who's your fave starter?

I do want to try out the Sinnoh games, along with their remasters on the switch sometime. Custom regions aren't exactly my thing though, I like a challenge while going along the main storylines.​

My favourite starter by far has to be mudkip, the first one I chose first.​

Oh, by the way if you don't mind me asking, how do you make a flair like yours? I'm really curious with all this flair stuff, and the way you edit them.​

Oh boy, trying to remember my whole team is a doozy-​

All I do remember is practically soloing the entire game with my starter, swampert! Surf and Dive sure did help alot as attacking moves for me. Heh​

Welcome to the community, Karma! There's definitely a plethora of people here who love the 3rd Gen, so you're among good, likeminded people. Personally, I've always liked the 2nd Gen, but I think that's just cause I'm old lol. Do you have any plans on going back (or forward!) and playing more of the main series games? Or is your heart calling you more towards fan games at the moment?

Also Absol is a great Pokémon. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Oh yes the Sinnoh games are amazing~ Rich region and arguably some of the best music in Pokemon. You're definitely missing out if you haven't given them a go yet (I would advise Platinum over Diamond and Pearl however, unless you want to spend 3 hours on each trainer battle lmao). And very good choice on Mudkip <3 No matter how many times I replay RSE, I can never NOT pick the little guy. It's just too perfect. Same with DPPt and Turtwig.

Believe me, I know very little about flairs and couldn't make one like this myself to save my life. It was crafted by Pokecommunity's flair master, Fairy (who conveniently has already posted here, so it's easier to ping her :3)

Ty for your welcome! The concept of going back to a different, slightly modified canon region has always stuck in my mind since I've learned about it and it's introduction in Gen 2.

I do want to play all main series games, when and if I can. That and playing the definitive versions of the regions. (FRLG, HGSS, ORAS, and BDSP.) With all the old versions of the regions aswell!​

My heart yearns for a little bit of both, playing the old games, and seeing what this fantastic community has created!​

I'm a sucker for swords danced sucker punch absol. So cheesy yet so effective.​

Glad to know I'm not the only one, haha. In my defense, I was only about 11 back then and we don't get translated versions of the games here in Belgium, so I had to play in a language I had not mastered yet. :p

Absol is such a pretty Pokemon aesthetically (I love its mega even more) but I have yet to use it! I'm currently re-playing through all of the main series games and I do plan on using an Absol on my Omega Ruby team. ^^ I think it fares much better in the remakes because of the physical/special split.

Hii welcome to PC! Your posts and flair looks amazing :D Nice to see you've already found your way around how to do that ahah. People get into this forum for all kinds of big or minor original reasons, and then often stay for the community-feel of it. I hope you'll feel the same :3 There's everything to talk about, basically.

For me, Crystal is still the definitive version of Johto, just saying ;)
