  • Are you serious? Buy a house? You do realize that the player character is usually 10 if not just over right?

Oh, I didn't know. But I really do think they should bring back secret bases, those were awesome and if you linked with your friends and disconnected you could still goto there base and battle them (sorta) if I rememberd correctly. Im talking bout 3rd gen bases btw

  • Hopes for Gym leaders and Elite 4 are these. This is counting the confirmed gym leader already.
    Bug
    Steel
    Ghost
    Fight
    Dragon
    Fairy
    Dark
    Fire (Maybe Team Flair's HQ)

    For the E4 members.
    Grass
    Water
    Ground
    Elec
    Champ: Different Types
    Then a rival.

  • I think people are overhyping the "no more fire/fighting" thing. There's been so much negative criticism about Emboar being fire/fighting, that Gamefreak probably noticed a looong time before they came up with Fennekin. They know not to repeat the same pattern 4 times in a row. We need to give them some credit here.

Remember how badly Psychic types got nerfed in gen2? They really need to not let that happen again with dragons. I would like dragon to be around the same usefulness that ground type moves currently are.

    DOS:
Edgier Fairy-types- I love the idea of a type that can make dragons less OP, but all the fairy-types from Gen 6 have been very cutesy. If they could make a Pokemon based on an evil fairy, that would be awesome. Obviously, its type would be Dark/Fairy. This probably will happen because they wouldn't make all Pokemon of one type similar to each other.

Gyms that we haven't seen in a while: Gyms are a staple of the Pokemon franchise, so it's hard to keep them fresh. Hence, there should be gym types we haven't had for a long time. We haven't had a Psychic type gym since Gen 3. Even though we had a Poison-type gym in Gen 5, it was only in BW2 and it was early in the game. Aside from that, we haven't had a Poison gym since Gen 1! Not counting Chili in BW, we haven't had a fire type since Gen 3. We've only had two Steel gyms and Steel is one of my favorite types. Finally, we haven't had a Dark or Fairy type gym ever! With Fairy, it's obvious why there hasn't been a gym for it yet, but Dark has no excuse.

A new IV system: I don't know what form this would take, but people need to be able to get competitively viable Pokemon without cheating to make sure their Pokemon have the right IVs.

Make all Pokemon usable in-game: By this, I essentially mean no Pokemon that A: Evolve past Level 50 or B: Are in the Regional Pokedex but not available until the postgame. And speaking of the Regional Pokedex...

A Big Regional Pokedex: I didn't like that BW only let you use 5th Gen Pokemon. I think XY should have a really big regional Pokedex with useful Pokemon from all generations.

    DON'TS:
A Fire/Fighting Fennekin Evolution: Just no. On the plus side, it probably won't happen because the same guy who leaked the Fairy type, Inkay/Malimar, Pangoro, and a lot more stuff that ended up being true leaked this:
    Spoiler:

An easy E4: I want a really challenging Elite 4, especially with the Champion. I definitely think that the Champion should use multiple types and that he/she should be incredibly hard, harder than BW/BW2.

Sylveon is the only new evolution of an old Pokemon: It seems weird that they would do this, but it almost seems like it will happen only because none of these Corocoro leaks have shown any new evolutions other than Sylveon. We probably will get more new evolutions, though.

What do you think of my Dos and Don'ts?

  • I also want to see a hard E4. I found the E4 in BW1 pretty dang hard. I was defeated by Ghestise three times before I finally beat him. Though I do hope the first 4 members aren't close like they were in BW and BW2. I mean Ghost, Dark, Psy, and Fight just made it too easy.

I really want to see a Fire and Dark type gym.

  • I'd like a Stat-based Elite Four.

One that specializes in Defensive Stats (Similar to Shuckle, Steelix, and Milotic)
One that specializes in Offensive Stats (Similar to Rampardos, Alakazam, Machamp)
One that specializes in Speed Stat (Similar to Persian/Starmie/Electrode)
One that specializes in Health Stat (Similar to Blissey/Snorlax/Wailord)

Then a champion that is more balanced, or has one pokemon that represents one of each of the six stats as its main strength.

The type specialists are a must for gym leaders, but it seems like the Elite Four could be a bit more dynamic to emulate more of a trial.

  • Im hoping fairy types are as good as they sound so far, because i think that would be really cool! Also, i would love to see some kind of fairy gym leader, although, that could be the already confirmed one... -Blu

I'll like to see evolutions of past Pokémon. Also a challenging E4 along with a champion who is actually hard to defeat unlike Alder.

Challenge is subject to independent play. The ONLY Champion I have ever had trouble with was Cynthia. Everyone else went down easily, usually with in one or two hits from a few Pokemon. I've solo'd almost all of them with exception to Cynthia only. So for me Alder, Iris, Lance, Steven, Blue, and Wallace were all the same difficulty.

I had harder times fighting their E4 members than them. Only thing I'd like changed is diversity. I don't think any of the champions should have a focused type, nor do I think the E4 should. They should be top trainers, and top trainers don't have type focuses as they balance their party out. I would like to see them do something similar to Norman's gym in R/S/E were each of the E4 members focus on stats rather than type.

I know it won't happen, but its what I'd prefer and I'd find it a bit harder if done like that.

  • I also found the E4 harder than some of the champions. Though Blue is the only other champ that has no type Steven and Alder lean towards Steel and Rock,Bug and Normal. While Iris and Lance are dragon, and Wallace is water...too specialized in types. I hope that the champion has a multitype team with one common type like say Dark/Psychic, Dark/Fire, Dark/Flying, ect. if they must have a type, the second type can counter the primary type's weaknesses.

Well, I did have trouble against fire red E4 champion, but that was the first pokemon game I started playing and I hardly knew what I was doing. In black and white and emerald I found the E4 way to easy. I agree with you that they should make the E4 focus more on stats, having pokemon of all the same type, makes the E4 easy to beat cause they have a party of all the same type. Imo they should increase their A.I a bit to. . Another thing I hope they continue in this game is where if you beat the E4 and challenge it a second time The E4 has alot stronger pokemon and sometimes new pokemon.

I am really hoping the battles move along as fast as the battles in B/W... I'm really worried about the 3D battles being slow.

This. Would. Be. Awesome. I'm kind of getting tired of sweeping through Elite Four's, sometimes not even getting attacked once. I think having the Champion just be balanced instead of one Pokemon representing one stat would be a lot better, and harder too.

And if this doesn't happen, then at least don't give us a Mono-type Champion. Just please, don't. Gary/Blue and Cynthia were by far the most enjoyable Champions to fight.

I'm hoping for an interesting post game, and something to keep me playing long after I finished the game. In my white 2 I got all the pokemon so its the PWT that keeps me playing

  • It has been a while since someone last posted here, but lately I have been getting on the Dream World a lot more. So this is what I am hoping for:

I hope they add more starting areas and make them equally common. I have got the Dream Park like 15 times in a row and that is with different pokemon. I am also hoping they make it quicker to use. It takes forever for things to load the first time through. At least with my computer, and I have a 2012 computer. Also, I hope they take out the tutorial like thing when the woman speaks. She ALWAYS comes up with when a new pokemon is put in and it slows down the loading time.
