Well West, I think that the head is ok, but to me it seems as though it looks more like a helmet than hair/grass.
I kinda like the banana thing more than the star, but that's just me.

I'm not really a fan of the pointed leaves... maybe because when I think of a baby, (with the exception to Pichu), I think cute, round, and cuddly. The pointiness just makes it kinda awkward, at least to me....

Also what I meant by Helmet, is the way the shading works kinda creates a shadow effect making it look like its on top of rather than attached.

I'm pretty sure that all fakemon will be completely unique.
New stats and move sets for all fakemon.

I think Tropie/Tropea will not be able to fly. I'm pretty sure it will be grass type only.
I think there was some discussion about whether it should be grass/ground, but I think that it was decided to be grass only. So no fly until its evolution to Tropius

For your first question, Mac is trying too, or at least he was when I last talked to him about it.

As for your second question, since he is a baby, I don't think it appropriate. I mean, not to be a smart-aleck, a baby bird doesn't know how to fly at first, does it? Some birds wait almost a full year before they can even attempt it. So, no, I don't think he will.
