No. We don't know. o_o It depends on how much we want to be in the beta and how much we get done over the summer. Hopefully we'll have the first one done by August.

You see, Tropie is spelled... Tropie. Tropius is spelled... Tropius! XD Now, take Tropie. Now take the E off, now we have Tropi. Now add us to Tropi, to make Tropius! See? That's why I want to keep the spelling the same.

yeah, but those only work when the names aren't similar.
Caterpie - Metapod. completely ... different.
but with

Tropea (Tropie) - Tropius, you have
(TROH-pee) (TROH-pi-us)

too similar.
so tropie - tropius makes more sense since the pronunciations are similar, so they should be spelled similar.

i have an idea ... You should make 2 game modes and when you click make a new game you can choose between the 2 ... Well in one of the game modes you get to choose your starter pokemon... and in the other game mode alll the startes are taken by your rival trainers and that just leaves one pokemon left like when ash had to take pikachu... But heres the thing you should make it so that the last pokemon left to take is randomly generated so it has a chance to change things up.. And if they choose to play the game the pikachu way then they get a chance through out the game to get the starters kinda like yellow version . idk in my oppinion that would be pimp

That wouldn't really fit in with our scripts at the beginning of the game.

ye i understand but ..it would be cool to leave what pokemon you get to chance .....you guys should think of somthing that pushes you from the rest of the hackers other then your great tiling and sprites.... My problem was that in the original games all you got from the gym leaders is the badges maybe you guys should hand out eggs of the gym leaders best pokemon along with badges

Okay, if you want to push off one of your ideas on a hack, you can go make a hack of your own. It sounds to me like you just want to see your idea implemented into a hack, so go do it. Get rid of the badges. It's not so easy as you may think.

Anyways, using proper grammar is the way to get people to listen, is all I'm saying. If you go around in real life and talk like "Guushilzibah, mumu fublickidin!" all you're going to get is some weird looks and people walking away from you as fast as possible. And, generally, people don't make suggestions to games. They express their opinions on the things that the creators have already done, and then the creators come up with new ideas, etc. If you think it would make a fun game, go make your own hack with your own ideas. I won't give a rat's ass if you go out there and do that, but as long as you're trying to get other people to input your ideas into their hacks, I don't like it.

And I'm done talking on this. On-topic: Honestly, Tropea seems to fit better. Few Pokémon names end with "ie" and it sounds more like a nickname than a species name.

I don't know... I like Tropie with a shorter neck. And I don't like that..hat...thing.

And an FYI bananas don't have... "Flowers" They're very thick outer peel-ish material on a banana. + They're red, hence the bananas being red when they're young.

I like the third one the best. The full leaf makes it look more like a little kid than the other ones.

It wasn't blocked, like other swear words, now was it? Also, I could have been saying it as in "the rat's donkey". Who knows?
