Mind if I join? Houndour is an adorable little canine that I fell in love with after getting a plushie of one. And Houndoom is a favorite of mine for many reasons, one of which being that my favorite character in the anime has one.

No, I personally like Houndour and Houndoom the way they are. I couldn't think of a good pre-evo for Houndour or a good evolution for Houndoom.
