I searched and I didnt find any threads so here we go.

    **Spoilers**

House Of Wax (2005) a remake of the classic film (1953), I first saw it the other week, unfortunetly I didn't catch it at the cinema. Okay, so the film starts of slightly boring. The movie stars Paris Hilton, and well..Shes a terrible actor. But she only has a very small part in the movie, and well, her ending in the movie is pretty great.
The Story of the movie is fantastic, really scary.
The film itself is pretty gorey, theres alot of nasty and disturbing scenes.

Actor Brian Van Holt (*drool*) plays the insane killer, he is a truley awesome actor and makes the film just that much better. The movie is deffinitly a must see, its got quite a few bad reveiws, but me personally being a movie veteran loved it. I've seen more horror movies than I have clouds, and this has to be one of the best i've seen in a very long time.
Ignore the reveiws go rent it out!

    Main Cast:
    Elisha Cuthbert
    Chad Michael Murray
    Brian Van Holt <3
    Paris Hilton
    Jared Padalecki
    Jon Abrahams

So, comments anyone? Seen it? want to?

You did your homework on this movie huh?

I never seen this movie but it seems really interesting. I might rent it.

    It was awesome!

I was sleeping up my friends house when I saw it, there was about six of us in the room when we put it on, we were having a horror night...I think we watched this first and then Dead End.

Anyways, it was great, I loved the story and the murder scenes were amazing XD

My friends seemed to think differently though...they didn't like the gore...scared them to death...heck it scared me, but I love movies that scare me.

At the start I was actually wondering what the little story had to do with anything, but it all came together in the end and it was a good build up to when they revealed it.

Scary thing was, after watching both this and dead end, the letter box began to make closing noises and it wasn't moving at all...it was freaky...but it just added to the scariness of the night XD

I want to see that movie badly, actually I wanted it to from the moment cinemas started playing it....unfortunately, I couldnt find anyone to see it with, since most of my friends said it looks creepy and that they hate this kind of movies. And I dont really find it exciting to go to the cinema all by myself o_O.
Well, so it's out on DVD now? Im sure gonna rent it. The whole plot sounds really interesting and Im a huge fan of horror movies...and this time I dont care if no one else wants to see it with me. Im also looking forward to seeing how Paris is playing her role XD. heh...

I watched it with my Mum & Sister, we're like the horror trio, watch all the new movies together heh, its out now on DVD, im deffinitly going to buy it soon. I do LOVE movies that scare me, make them so much better.

Greta you must go see this if you like horror movies, it is a 15 though.

1953 version with Vincent Price blows this out of the water. I haven't seen the new one, but from the trailers and that I've heard that the plot is almost nothing like the original, I can safely assume that to be true.

If you like classic movies, definitely check that out, or anything done by Vincent Price for that matter *coughiefallofthehouseofushercough*

it was really whack mostly cause paris hilton can't act
the 1st one was probably better
