The first time was actually epic. I had used pretty much all my revives and potions, and figured I was done. As she threw out her last pokemon, I didn't know a lot about Milotic. Once I realized all she was doing was surf, and that I was facing a pure water type, I started laughing with my Empoleon and celebrated victory.

  • The fight with Cynthia was lucky. XD I almost lost it, but my Garchomp took her Garchomp's Dragon Rush, then hers took my Dragon Rush. I knew the next hit would kill me (the first left me with 2 HP.) and I chose an attack, expecting to die... AND SHE MISSED! I hit and, tearing through the last few Pokemon, won. :3 It was probably the most epic moment I've had in an in-game battle. XD Not quite so much with Wi-Fi battles, but you know.

  • I didn't feel much. The first time I beat them I did have a small sense of accomplishment but after that, I just didn't care.

  • i've only challenged them once and i beat them. but i beat them with a bunch of legendaries my friend traded me so i don't know if that counts but either way it doesn't count for me. so i guess you could say i'm still yet to challenge and beat them. i must admit i was happy when i beat them and the champion, but i'm sure i'll be alot happier when i beat them with my own team.

"What type of battle was this?"

Clearly I wasn't so happy with their (the champion in the above's case) easy difficulty, and my Pokemon weren't even that prepared yet.
Later battles ended up becoming a bit tougher, despite being more prepared. 0_o

I play on Set Mode, and go through the E4 without using any items, except for held ones, but don't restock or change them in between battles. It tends to be a challenge. Because of Stealth Rock and Steelix's good enough Sp.Def, I manage to KO Cynthia's Roserade for the win with only 6HP left. Needless to say, I did a lot of excessive and unnecessary screaming.
