I took more than a month to beat White, which was relatively quick compared to how much I spend my sweet time in other pokemon games. As a result, my White forest was completely empty. It took me months to find a friend in my neighborhood who had Black who could help me replenish my forest. It was tedious to replenish, and even then, I couldn't get the actual pokemon I wanted (Porygon) because he didn't have the person for it. Furthermore, I already had all the pokemon in White Forest technically already-available through Poketransfer. I think Black and White 1 did a pretty poor job of these features, despite the idea of a White Forest being one of the biggest things I looked forward to. Black and White 2 did a much better of using these facilities to have good replay value.
