How long have you liked Pokémon for?

I think it's been about 11-12 years now because I remember getting Red around the time it first came out but it might have actually been a year later after I watched the anime for the first time.

When did you find out about Pokémon?
In third grade, when everybody ran around with the TCG, even the girls. We wanted to have the most shiny and cute pokémon cards and couldn't care less about Trainer cards and Energy ^^' Then I started playing the TCG and realized I needed those as well.

Why did you initially like Pokémon, and why do you like it now?
Because the TCG was appealing. Nowadays I like pokémon as a concept (and because they're fun to roleplay with!). I've yet to see such an imaginative and addicting world, with a more fun and great fanbase. I admit though, if it wasn't for PokéCommunity, I wouldn't care much about pokémon anymore.
 
How long have you liked Pokémon for?
For...well, ever since I was a baby. 13 years then.

When did you find out about Pokémon?
I always watched the anime as a 2 year old, but, parents then got my Pokemon edition N64 (I still play it) with Pokemon Stadium! The love was fueled even more after I played Pokemon Red on a gameboy when I was 8 years old, the landowner's tomboy daughter of our rented house let me play it. I also played my first Zelda game on it.

Why did you initially like Pokémon, and why do you like it now?

The anime (which I ironically don't like now, past Advanced Battle), but the games are all great.
 
I have loved Pokemon since the whole franchise begun. I was only 3 or 4 at the time Pokemon made its debut and my fave Pokemon back then was Pikachu. I even had a keyring and plush toy of the little guy. I got more loved into Pokemon when Generation II came out, cuter Pokemon there.

And eventually when Generation III came, I played my first Pokemon game (Ruby) and I became Champion on that game and had a massive collection. I eventually also played Sapphire & Emerald.

In 2008, the second year of Generation IV (3rd year of Gen IV in Japan) my brother got Diamond and played it with me, and soon eventually I started my own Sinnoh journey when I got Pearl. Then the following year, I played Platinum. And then in 2010, my brother (antho007911) got HeartGold and chose Totodile as his starter. Then, I got SoulSilver and chose Cyndaquil. Now I'm Champion in SS and currently I have collected 403 Pokemon in the National Dex!

When my birthday in October comes around, antho007911 will play White and I will be playing Black, eventually. I wonder if my Unova journey will be just as good as Johto, Kanto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. I'm going to choose Oshawott as my Black starter cos it's so adorable!

Anime-wise the first episode I watched was EP001: Pokemon I Choose You! and I have been watching the anime since then. I still remember that moment when Ash received his Pikachu.
 
How long have you liked Pokémon for? For About 13-14 years
When did you find out about Pokémon? When I was 5 or 6 years old. I just randomly started watching the anime
Why did you initially like Pokémon, and why do you like it now? I just loved the plot. It was fresh and original at that time. Now, I like it because of all the different pokemons they create every gen.
 
Since the days of Red/Blue.

I first stumbled upon pokemon when watching tv. The anime was on, (squirtile squad episode :3), and that got me to buy the game.
 
How long have you liked Pokémon for? Since it began really :)
When did you find out about Pokémon? The anime, the trading card game, people talking about it in school, the games etc lol :)
Why did you initially like Pokémon, and why do you like it now? It was something completely different and unlike anything out there - I still feel the same attachment towards pokémon now that I did then :)
