How often do you save your game?

I used to save only before important battles or turning the gameboy/ds off, but after some bad experiences with that, i'm saving like every 5 minutes now, so i don't have to do stuff like the Silph Co or the Mt. Coronet quest twice

- Before fighting members of the E4
- Before fighting a legendary/one-of Pokemon
- After catching a legendary
- When I think the game's going to die
- Before getting my starter

That's all I can think of for now.
 
I save pretty often. Maybe every 5-10 mins. Ive had times where Ive dropped my GBA SP and my games turn off! So I make sure to save alot!!

Lady GaGa- I also save more then once in a row to make sure I save right! Once I thought I saved but I didnt and lost alot of progress. I was so angry!! Lol
 
On my DS, every time i do anything, as its always freezing up.Well, i used to do that, now i just don't play.

On my GBA games??Before major things, at the start/end of a new route. And, my odd habit of saving one step away from a pokemon center facing away from it, and in leafgreen, i do the same facing inwards aswell to the pokemon net center
 
Well when i play i do speedruns so i save at parts right before a hard spot where i could mess up. Like in the old games with the 3rd gym and you have to use the trash bins to unlock the door. I saved in there and probably restarted more times then ive pee'd standing up to get a good match on it (which was where they were right next to each other) Although i have done a speedrun where i only made the save after the elite four battles =]
 
I usually save up before I'm about to stop playing to record whatever I did or after I captured a new Pokemon.
