How to import music to Pokémon Essentials

Hey! I need some help: I try to import music files into Pokémon Essentials but when I try to sound test them, they don't play the track!

Can anyone help me?

Do you can hear other songs? What are your Operational System? Windows 8 allows to check the volume of each application at Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Advanced.

Your Music should go in the Audio folder, in the BGM folder

I can hear all the other tracks, but not the imported ones, even if they are in the Audio/BGM folder.
By the way, what do you mean by Operational System? Also can't find Audio and Sound>Advanced in the Control Panel.

Try to listen them via any media player like VLC, Windows Media Player, iTunes...

I can hear them in VLC, Media Player and all of those. I can't only listen to them when I sound test in Pokemon Essentials.

Did you try pressing F1 while playtesting? Make sure both Play BGM and PLay BGS are selected.

When I press F1 it just displays some text explaining stuff and how to do stuff.
