How will we divide users to teams?

It's pretty clear there will be teams this year. But how will we divide users into those teams?

Last year we just randomly put them in a team based on how they joined Discord server. Years before that we put together small survey that then divided users into teams.

So, what are we doing this year? If we want to do survey, we have to prepare it early during Stage II, so developers have time to put it up.

As far as I remember, they were always done in that spirit.

Personally, I'd rather we just use a bot or a program or even manually divide people who join into equal teams.

I favour randomising the teams and using PMD style surveys to determine what kind of Pokemon Villager someone is going to be. Sticks to the theme better and means we can keep the teams relatively even.
