    I recently got back into Pokemon. Basically just playing on Pokemon Showdown. I haven't played since 1st gen... To give you an idea of just how long I have been away. I am new to all the items, new moves, and new pokemon. I know I haven't even seen them all yet!

    Anyways, I look forward to talking with everyone. :)
     
    It's pretty exciting to catch up again! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Have you stopped by PC's Showdown server yet? Lots of fun to be had there and I'm always down for a random battle if you have the chance. 8] Never have my own team made, lol.. so I prefer randbats.

    Anyways, big welcome to the forum, Vaporeon! Hope you'll enjoy things on the community and will end up sticking around. Lots of people return to Pokémon after a long break so you're certainly not alone ~

    I would love to play sometime with you. I have a few teams but I enjoy random battles as well :) Link me to that section cause I swear I looked and didn't see it lol and thank you for the welcome :)
     
    I coulda swore I replied to this sometime yesterday, but welcome to PC! Catching up is quite challenging. I went through the same thing, being out of it for a a while and suddenly jumping back in. I do recommend looking up some LPs of the newer game to get yourself acquainted with the newer generations. I'm sure you would find some LPs in the Let's Plays section. As for the Showdown server, you can find that here! It's always on the navigation bar under the dropdown "Battle" (https://prntscr.com/8mpx6o). :D

    Oooh, Showdown is great, and I'm sure that you're going to love our server., Things have changed a whole lot, and for good since the first generation, now we have a better battling system, abilities and the game feels a lot more fair if you ask me. You should know that PC is a great place to be, we have a whole lot of sections and things going on, if you ever want to play competitive, you should check the Battling & Team Building section, you're going to find help with your teams there and tips to get better at the game.
