"I DON'T have a gambling problem!"

I actually started playing on the Game Corner and when I didn't win anything I just ragequit and started buying the coins with money.

i only played voltorb flip which isnt even considered gambling to get a porygon. other than that i always buy coins with money if i get them at all

I rarely use the slots, prefer to battle a lot then buy coins. Voltorb Flip on the other hand...I never even noticed that you couldn't buy coins, its just so fun that I normally stall my progress for a couple of days up to a week (depending on how often I'm playing) in Goldenrod City because I just play in the Game Corner.

While playing Fire Red , I just spent 20 mins in the slots... I intend to spend more... Really want that Dratini...And that Scyther... And that Porygon...
Damn....

The Veilstone one I really liked, with the Clefairy. It was pretty easy if I recall, but I fell short of the Explosion TM multiple times. :/

I always avoid the slots. The Voltorb minesweeper though is fun! I'll probably never go to a casino though

I always get short end of the stick on game corners. If anything it taught me not to gamble, actually. There are some rumors that some slot machines have better odds than others, though there's nothing substantial to testify the validity of those statements.
Some slot machines do have better odds actually. Slot machines don't have preset odds, they can be adjusted. My cousin has 3 slot real machines in his home which you can legally buy. There is slider on the inside that's sole purpose is to make the machine win less or more. No way to possibly tell the odds at the casino though.

I only used the slots until I got enough cions for an Porygon and Dratini. I did not really like the voltorb flip mini-game in HG/SS. so I only played it once.
