I finally joined the Dragonite Club!

After a wild CP??? Dragonite escaped from me (eating up 25 Ultra Balls and Razz Berries in the process) a little over a week ago, I set my eyes on obtaining one the old fashioned way... hoarding up Dratini candies and evolving my best Dragonair.



I finally did it!

And... I think I'll go for another one. I don't like this one's moveset, even though it has a 91%+ IV rating :|

Anyone else in the Dragonite club? If not, how's the progress so far?

Wooo go Jae, love the nickname! You're getting closer and closer to that illustrious 142 every day. That thing has one heck of a high CP value, let us know how strong he ends up feeling! What CPs were the Dratini/Dragonair he evolved from if you remember?

As for me, I've never even seen a Dratini let alone caught one so I think I have a fair way to go until becoming a Dragonite owner! I don't really want one outside of Pokédex completion so I'm not too fussed on that front but it is a bit daunting knowing I'll have to find over 30 Dratini somehow before I can get those three ticked off... Maybe I'll come holiday with you some time :p

I won't be boosting this one as I'm not a fan of Dragon Pulse. I'll be saving the candies for another Dragonite and see how that one turns out.

As for the pre-evolutions, the Dragonair was CP1230. The Dratini, if I remember correctly, was in the high 600s (CP670ish maybe).

I've never encountered a Dratini naturally away from water. They only appear near some body of water for me.

I've only just got a dragonair, it will be a long journey to dragonite for me. Hopefully the new updated tracker to help as I've seen dratini on my nearby sometimes but no idea where it spawns locally

This is the biggest progress I've ever made haha. Had this happen 4 or 5 times since I've started playing but never been able to find the stupid thing! Think it's about time I join a community to discuss nests and sightings because right now I'm falling sooo far behind on the Pokédex.

I totally get that. I hatched a Lapras with Dragon Pulse and was so disappointed. But, obviously, will keep it in case that attack becomes better in a later update.

No Dragonite for me yet. One day.

I've only seen silhouettes of a Dragonair so far so gonna be a while til I join the club but at least I know they do exist locally!
