I hate my name!

I wanted to be name Oliver.
I ended up being name after a family friend that we never talk to anymore.
Plus my name has a horrible meaning I get teased about.
My name is Richard D:

Why is no one actually saying what their name is? D: I'm so curious.

I used to absolutely love my own first name (Wilson). In fact, it actually probably is still my favourite male name, but I've begun to irrationally dislike all male names. D:
The name I prefer to go by is properly "Margaret", but usually "Maggie" as a short name. I've also been called "Margo" a few times. I also like "Margaro" but no one else seems to. xD
Well, Maggie is my favourite name--even though some people (my sister included >_>) think it's a "dog's name"--so I'm quite content. =) I've even gotten some people in real life to call me Maggie or Margeaux, or some kind of nickname thereof. And my friends online. My family refuses, though.

But I'm far from hating any name really. I'm just sort of ~sensitive~ about being called male names. =(
Also, I've never met another person with the first name "Wilson" or who goes by the name "Margo", so yay for originality. <3

I can't stand any of my names. My first and middle names are far from my taste (makes me think of girly-girls or old ladies, and I'm neither); my last name is spelled differently than how people phonetically would spell it so not a soul gets it right unless I'm telling them as they write it. >:[ Put them all together and they don't flow off the tongue well at all. It sounds choppy and lame. I hate all the nicknames that can be made from my first name, too.

I doubt I'd ever legally have a name change, though, and I'd think it'd be awkward to suddenly have everyone that knows me already as one name call me something else. At least on the internet I can have an alias I like, and that makes things a bit better.

I quite like my name :3

It's a royal name, with a Greek origin, and it sounds kinda cool, almost demanding, somehow... :D:D:D:D:D
What I don't like is that my given name/surname combination most likely is the most common one where I live.. So it doesn't give me much personality >_>
If I were to write a book, I'd better use another name ._.

I don't really care for my name. It's just so modern and sounds more like a name for a popular girl, which I'm definitely not. XD Though it'd be so weird to change my name, I'd love to change it to a more dorky and eccentric name. <3

I usually go by my nickname, Toot, though. :3

I don't mind my full name as I was named after my Great grandfather, Alexander.

However I hate it being shortened to "Alex" so I introduce myself as Xander. And yeah, I spell it with an X. Whatcha gonna do?

I want my name to be Driz. That, or maybe something less exotic like Jeffrey.

I'm the only guy at my school that has my name. Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only guy in this state with this name. My friend said that I was one of the only two results that showed up on Facebook. Also, my friends always call me "Borat" because of the similarity between our name. I don't hate my name, but sometimes it can be annoying. What I like about it is its originality. I have to thank my father for making such a creative name.

I used to dislike my name and wanted something that started with a K (I think Kayla or Katherine were my favourite names). But then I grew older and started to really like my name. Especially when I learnt it essentially means "ever powerful, ever ruler". :) Best name ever! I wouldn't change it for the world.

Well, what are nicknames for, after all?

At first, I went by "Emily-Emma" from Preschool (or maybe Pre-K?) through Kindergarten because I liked the name "Emily-Elizabeth" from Clifford. Then, I began watching Dragon Tales, where there was a character named "Emmy", and I became "Emmie" until 8th grade, where I switched schools and learned there was a ninth grader with the exact same nickname, spelling and all (her real name was Amelia, though, which isn't close to mine).

I have had other favorites, though. "Rachelle", "Julia" (which could've been my middle name, actually), "Mitsuki" (sadly nabbed from Full Moon o Sagashite ;;), "Lucia" (which is what I use on here nowadays), etc.

Personally, I'm more up for changing my last name. I could've done that when my mom got remarried, but Idk why I chose not to. Anyways, I'm thinking of changing that to "Vaughn" because it sounds cooler than a synonym for "rear end" with a consonant added at the end. I'll lose my "ER" ("Emergency Room" for those who don't know abbreviations well enough) initials, but then I'll be "EV" (which sounds like "Eevee" when said, or for those who love taking advantage of Pokemon game mechanics, it stands for "Effort Value").

But yeah. My parents named me after someone they really cared for, and not just some random celebrity or TV character. And for that, I'm proud to have my name.

I used to go by a name that was derived from my middle name, but in grade school I switched to my first name by simply writing my first name on my paper, and I love my name since it is unique but now I really want to go by my full middle name, but I think it's too late.

I used to want to change my first name to Catherine, Victoria or Alexandra... I have no idea why, because they're all so old fashioned and really wouldn't suit me in the slightest. Now I really like my forename, it's unique enough that I'm the only one with it in my year, but most people have heard it before so there's no trouble pronouncing it or whatever.

I actually dislike my middle name, it's April. As in the month. My parents went through a phase of unoriginality apparently, and seeing as that's when I was born - yeah. Quite often I use Aiden as a middle name instead (it is, in fact, unisex - though it's more common as a male name) because I like it and it's the same first letter at least and it's kinda pretty :3

I'm changing my surname as soon as I turn eighteen because I still have my father's surname and I want my mother's, so hopefully that should be fairly easy by then - now I'm supposed to have the permission of my parents, and what with it being my dad and all, I don't have permission from both of them xD

My name is as common as my face. Ughh.
I wanna change it too! My parents originally planned a name that sounds cooler than what I was actually named.

But hey, I found out my name was special in a way. ^___^
You just gotta twist your name and give yourself an AWSM nickname.

My name is annoying sometimes. It's Jesus. You don't how many bible jokes were told when I was in school. :\ Some people are so immature.

Example: "I was praying last night to you, why didn't you answer? Haha"

It gets frustrating after awhile, I like my middle and last name tho. I won't reveal it. ;)
