    I've never really played pokemon with folks online or competitively, so I figure a bustling community like this will help. I'm open to meet lots of people and learn their strategem, and also find new ways to make my favorite pokemon work. I will say that I don't know anything about the rules or tiers or what have you, I just have my favorites and my hair brained ideas that I like to trot out, so forgiveness if we battle and I commit a faux pas.

    I do know however that I'm kinda fed up with the random free battles full of nothing but arceus and mega charizard and so on, so I thought I'd look for some more organized battles.

    I too, have a fondness of using favourites, and I also would love to find new strategies that can work too! Ah, and our Battle Center is willing to help you out with anything you need there at all! Feel free to post teams for others to help you out, and you can even have a look at the Guidelines & Resources thread to take a look at some links that will provide some explanations about competitive stuff, as well as pokemon in general. We also have a Showdown Server anytime you would like to battle online with the regulars who come by there, or if you would just wanna chat! :3

    Glad to see you've already dived into our Battle Center board! You'll find all the battling partners you need there. I'm not so good at organizing teams and the like since I've not much experience in battling but perhaps we can have a battle or two in the future when I'm ready.

    Hello Horrigan, welcome to the amazing PC forums!

    As the others said, Battle Center is definitely the place for you so yeah glad to see you discovered it already. Aura also showed you the battle server if you haven't seen it yet, we have a fair share of members active over there such as myself so I do hope to see you there sometime. Maybe have a battle with you or something but yeah I'm sure you'll love it.

    Anyways, do take care and enjoy your stay here, and with the active memberbase and helpful staff team I'm sure you can stick around as an active member because we accept anyone, no matter how long they've been into Pokemon or what their faves are.
