    ITT: Do you salt your watermelon?

    @ everyone in this thread:
    There's some major fail going on here. At least try it before you shut it down. Salting a watermelon actually makes it taste sweeter because the salt dilates your taste buds. It has no effect on the juiciness of the fruit, and will only make it taste salty IF you put too much salt on it in the first place.

    Absolutely not. I like it niiiiice and juicy.
     
    NO! we must not ruin the beautiful watermelons natural taste. ahhhh watermelon. I only tend to salt hot food for some reason.

    Never tried it, but my mom does it all the time, so it's not like I've never heard of the practice. XD
     
    I'll try salting it the next time I eat a Watermelon.
    But usually, no, I don't salt it.
     
    Nah I really don't even like salt like that. If what you say is true then I will try it, just for you Gym >:]
     
    I-I'm not even entirely fond of watermelon. D:

    So I don't really eat it often enough to matter, or when I do eat it.. it's only a few pieces, and I don't bother putting salt it in. My family members always bug me to try it, and I just never do. Don't even have a valid excuse. Even if I put salt on it to enhance it's flavor.. I still just.. don't care for it's flavor, or it's texture much.
