You know my opinion.

I generally try and keep promises, however I don't really make them and I don't really have people promise me things. I don't think promises are worth much, but that's probably because I've had people promise me pretty big things and they've broken my promise. I've never broken an important promise I've made (not knowingly anyway.) But otherwise I don't think promises are worth keeping!
 
I keep all of my promises, because I don't make promises unless I know I'm going to be able to keep them. If I don't know for a fact I'll keep a promise, I won't make it. They'll just have to deal with it. I haven't been someone who did things to please others for a long time, and I've focused more on myself and it's made me much happier, so I don't see starting that again.
