Yeah, I did. I just felt that the people needed to know the worst case scenarios.

And yeah, according to the games, the anime and the non-canon movies, before Poké Balls were invented, Pokémon were caught using apricots. Apricots (nowadays) are used to create Poké Balls, seeing as you bring them to Kurt in the second generation games and he works wonders.
 
Well, if it was real. You'd get terrorists using Electrode for bombs. You'd have old man in the woods with young children who would be crying their eyes out being alone in the woods with only a blue turtle by their side. But if all them problems weren't there, it'd be the best thing ever. Except that it's not a cartoon and a Flamethrower from a Charizard will kill you.

There is my negative comments. But it'd be pretty cool I guess, my Black Labrador would be an Umbreon named Cosmo.
 
Man, if Pokémon were real, I'd have an Eevee laying on my lap right now! :P

if pokemon were real, then PC wouldn't exist.
why talk about pokemon if you have them?
but in a way, some pokemon are real since they are based off of a real animal.
All you need is an apricorn to catch a mudfish.
But i would have a tyranitar and rule the world by then.
but doesn't anyone else think its weird how the pokemon will be able to learn moves?
its not like a giant sign will be put up and say"mudkip wants to learn mud-slap.do you want to learn it?"will it?
but maybe, in another world, there really are pokemon and they are caught with apricorns.
but not the pokemon in the game, brand new ones(except for bidoof, you see that thing everywhere).
 
Real life Pokemon may seem fun, however, it'd be absolute chaos. Sure, a few of them could clense up the Earth (Suicune and Celebi) but a majority would do nothing but damage. Seas would be far too dangerous to travel on with Gyarados's and Sharpedo's everyone. On land, it'd be even worse. Ursaring ruining your picnics, Tyranitar's terrorizing you at mountains (and possibly destroying the Grand Canyon) Airborne travel would also be hectic with Salamence and Garchomp blowing everything up.

This is, however, assuming Pokemon are vicious, which they'll likely be bar a few kind ones (Lapras <3)

yes, and suicune ice beams anyone who litters.
But don't forget the droughts by groudon, floods by kyogre, ice ages by regice(which can be easily killed) and the damn pachirisu and rattata eating your garden food.
in all honesty, it would be a living hell, but if it was anything like the games, the pokemon would be tame.
with a few exceptions of course, with gyarados and sharpedo.
 
I'd own a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle. I have no idea what i'd do but I would love to have those as pets. Lol
 
It would make for a good sitcom.
 
Actually, now that I think of it, we propably couldn't just catch pokemon and make them battle each other. That's because there'd be many people demanding that pokemon should have their rights for free life. I can imagine the slogans: "Justice for pokemon!", "Pokemon have rights, too!", "Some pokemon are as intelligent as humans, they should have the same rights as us!" So catching and battling pokemon would be against the law. :P But propably keeping them as pets would be allowed. Okay, maybe in this thread you're supposed to think the life as the same way as in the games, but still. ^^
 
At least Rayquaza can repair the ozone holes....

Though Global Warming'll still be a problem with Groudon around..
 
Flamethrower doesn't kill you. It doesn't kill Ash. In fact, the only time that Pokemon actually HURT others is when it's defending itself and its family, and when someone evil tells it to do so. (It happens A LOT in Pokemon Special.)

Of course, with the exception of Gyarados...

Fan clubs, there would also be Pokémon Games like we have. Football is something to talk about, you get football games. Pokémon would be the same.

PC would exist. It'd be basicly like it is now, not exactly as you know, there is Pokémon. There would also be real life battle tournaments people would organise on PC while those who don't travel could play on the games.
