i would go to...............Dinosaur Age!!!!!, i want to know what Dinosaurs really looked like back then, next will be Ancient Egypt, i want to see what life they had back then. What about you? where would you go if you actually builded a Time Machine?

America in the 50s! I love everything that's retro. That, or France in 1839 and tell Hippolyte Bayard to not take Francois Arago's advice.

I would go to the future, take some machines with me, and return back to our time. I would then sell the future technology and become a trillionaire.

Probably just around 1850-1900. I'm a sucker for steampunk, and I know it wont be anything like that at all but I really do love the era anyways. Also, assuming I'm bringing technology with me I think it would either be interesting to see how humanity progresses with the technology I brought back or to just live in relative modern comfort in such an amazing era.

Also, assuming this time machine proves scientific capabilities to be limitless, I would also have infinite longevity so I really could watch how humanity progresses with the "future" technology.

I would go back in time and make sure both bush's never become president... and gun ownership doesn't exist in America and some other countries.

And on the side I would also take some technology back with me so technology these days can be advanced a few hundred years. :P

I would go back to join the SS with my grandpa, and maybe become a great solider dieing for what I know is right.

Why gun ownership? Most crimes committed in the US are by people who illegally own guns, not people who legally own them. Also, we get guns anyway in Poland B) Legally of course, it just takes LOTS of paperwork.

I would go to the future, see if anything needed fixing. Like if I was in trouble.. If not then probably take some futuristic gadgets and sell them all ;)

Shouldn't the question be 'when would you go?' XP

I'd go to the future. A) because the future is cool and shiny (hopefully) and B) to avoid messing up the past and causing a time paradox. Eek!

Two things. 1. I love Miku, so much. "World is mine" is one of my favourite non-metal/punk songs. 2. The future most likely will end in the Human race screwing up.

Depends on the term of the journey. If the time machine allowed 'holidays' for maybe a few days or so, then probably something like ancient Greece or some part of the Roman Empire. I always found those periods so dull when studying them in history, yet they inspire so much awe and wonder amongst die hard fans; going there would seem to either validate my own opinion or change it in some way.

However, if it was just a 'one trip and you're done' type scenario, then probably some time in the future: not only to not create a time paradox, but also because the thought of living in the past scares the bejeesus out of me!

If it was a one way trip I would go to the future for the technology to freely travel in time, and go back to the past and bet big money, only to win :P

I'd go back to the timew when *name censored* actually fancied me so I could just go for it instead of what I did before.

I kinda' like war and creaming people so I would probably grab some of today's weapons, go back to the 1500's and I would defend a really poor country against giant empires with my grenades and all.

Haha, I was gonna do something like that, but steal tons of weapons from today and go back to Kasserine Pass, give the US Army all of it, teach the troops, watch 'em massacre the Wehrmacht.

I'd want to go back and warn people about wars and disasters and big mistakes they were going to make. It seems like the best use of a time machine.

Or I'd just go to the future where (hopefully) things are all nice and peaceful and good.

I would go back in time and invent Doritos!! I would make millions and millions of dollars! >:D
And then I would spend all the money on Doritos cause they are freaking delicious.
