I would catch a Togepi and evolve it into a Togetic and later a Togekiss. Yeah I know it's a 2nd Generation poke but it is catchable in Sinnoh and in Platinum Cynthia gives you a Togepi egg.

Sneasel, then evolve it into Weavile.

i would have a gallade, since they're psychic, they're basic form is much like that of a human, and their fighting type combin' just owns everyone else ^.^
