Anyway, tell us more about yourself! How long have you been into Pokemon? What games are your favorite? Do you watch the anime or read the manga? Do you write Pokemon fanfiction or draw fanart? There's lots I can ask but I'm sure you get my gist, haha. I'd love to know more about you. :3 Personally fangames like hacks drew me to PC in 2006 but you'd be surprised with how addicting this forum is. I'm really glad that I decided to rejoin and stay active.

Really, we try to be as friendly as we can! :D It's not an inherent characteristic of every person, but PC is generally friendly because we're awesome like that. That said, I really wish you said more! You could have told us all kinds of things about you. We could help you get around the forum and recommend good places that suit you that way. Maybe we even have the same interests! Stuff like that. It's really cool that we even get intro threads to serve that purpose, because that way, you're free to try to reach out to these very same people who greeted you and welcomed you to the community.
Really, this place is a great site to make new friends and talk to people about common interests, Pokémon-related or not. Eventually you'll start befriending some of our regulars, and all new things become second nature to you like talking about your day with a person through VMs, sharing instant messaging contact information with people you're close with, posting in chit-chat threads about anything under the sun, or just having a heartfelt PM conversation. PC in a nutshell, I'd say. It's much more than that; it's so much more. But as a new user, you definitely deserve to hear why people stop being new users in the first place.
That is, they learn to love this place for the long term.

I remember when I first joined PC and I got lost, I didn't know anyone and I couldn't even stay on topic at first. Now I made loads of friends and have become a helpful asset to newbies who have since joined, and you will be no different. I'll make sure your experience here is a good one, like I have done for several other members before.
PC is a great place for Pokefans to unite and interact with each other, and no matter what part of the forum grabs your interest I'm sure you'll make friends with loads of the regulars. Make sure you read the rules so you don't screw up on your first day. I hate it when that happens to newbies who only just joined, because I know you have potential to become an active member.
