In Canada, does milk really come in bags?

We are strange><'

And ah, some people in holland still use: "those wooden shoes"

Drugs think is only for amsterdam, and is partly true, everybody there has used it at least once....

Talking about stereotypes from the Netherlands, I once saw a cartoon that showed some of the things that were associated with the country:

You know that clothing in blue, white, with red ribbons and a white thing on the head?
Cheese, Heineken, Tulips, Clogs, Tulips... ^^"

But the Dutch liquorice is awesome. 8D Hema has some very good ones.

I don't know about everyone else, but my cousins live in Canada and when we visit, yes they do have their milk in a bag, though the chocolate milk comes in a carton, which I don't completely understand, but you can get white milk in bags.
Yeah, we have milk in bags. It's rather a cool way to store milk, I think. Though we do have 2L cartons of milk, we also have 4L bags, which contain three smaller 1.33L bags:

When I first noticed those jugs you have in the United States, I thought it was strange. I mean, bags are so much cooler! =D

I live in Texas, and I'm not a cowboy! Did you guess? O M G.

Do I seem like a cowboy? also, i hate football and dislike Barbeque. I can't live in Texas T.T

In the United States some people are known as hicks. Only because of where they're from. Like. " I thank it's time for me to use the outhouse." I also think the reason some of us are fat is because of ^ as stated above too many Mcdonalds.

...Stupid things like this really make me angry, to be honest. So just because you're Canadian gives you the right to just go on us because of stupid milk jugs? Wow how mature. I'm pretty sure some opinions are best kept to yourself. :|
Well, I did not intend to "go on you," and if you got that impression I apologize. I was merely pointing out that I thought it was strange(though I did use the word 'crazy,' which maybe I shouldn't have. Again I apologize if I offended you).

But heh, let's forget that. Well, another Canadian myth I've heard of is that we all apparently know each other, despite Canada being the 2nd largest country in the world. I didn't think anyone really thought that, until someone actually asked me if I "knew ___ from Canada." XD

New Yorkers all speak with a crazy accent, are extremely impatient, and are very loud/obnoxious. Haha, only part of that is true. Plus I'm not in the city, upstate NY. If you urbandictionary Saratoga Springs, we all apparently have elitist attitudes, drink lots of Starbucks, and have all the latest fashions. (....Kay. Well, alright, the elitist thing might be partially true...XD)

Apparently the whole of England is super posh, Drink tea all day and are ALL Homosexuals >.>

Now I ask you this...Have you ever been to Liverpool?

Now where I live...It's supposedly the Gay capital of europe >.>

So apparently EVERYONE is gay there >.<

They're called stereotypes for a reason, people: many of them just aren't true! :P

Now, any myth regarding humans is pretty much just stereotypical: Americans are all white, British are all gay, and people from New York are all loud, taking previous examples. While these people do exist in these areas(as well as many others), they do not constitute 100% of the population, XD. Furthermore, it's these kinds of myths that are generally considered insulting rather than funny.

The ones that can be funny are those that have nothing to do with humans themselves, but rather things present in their country: Canadians put milk in bags, Australians have kangaroos running wild in the streets, etc. Whether they're true or not, it's not insulting to anyone(or at least, it shouldn't be in my opinion).

I have never ever heard that British people are all supposed to be gay. That's such a weird thing to think XD A lot of people outside of Britain think we all either speak like the Queen or have Cockney accents like saying "govnaa" or something haha that's probably a stereotype.

In England, the obvious impression would be that everyone is stuck up with stiff upper lips while drinking tea with delicately made crockery in a small room by a fire nearby some comfortable carpets.
*gasp*
Everyone knows about that stereotype. I've seen others though, such as how we all love crumpets (Oddly enough, I DO love crumpets.) and in this country, the chav stereotype. The one where a certain town such as Liverpool or Castleford is filled with the buggers.
Oh and there's another one, we all say bugger, or is that Australia? I forgot, actually. ;)

I find milk coming in bags to be odd.. We get them in huge jugs or bottles like Americans do, but bags I just don't understand. :P

Bagged milk! <3

We love bagged milk in Canada. We let our mandatory pet beavers open it while we go aboot preparing our Kraft Dinner. We don't bother keeping it in a fridge because if we leave everything just outside our igloos, it stays cold enough anyway, eh? Honestly, I love a glass of cold milk-from-a-bag before my daily hockey game. It's also great not having to hide my weed whenever the Mounties stroll by on their mooses. I can't imagine living any other way. ♥

o.O;; I live in Puerto Rico, and the only jokes I've heard 'bout it is that the spanish Puertoricans speaky is the Chinese of the Caribbean Sea. Most in my school do tell jokes about USA, Canada, UK, France, Africa and Australia though. I find nothing funny in them :/

Fancy a cup of tea and some scones, old bean?

Indoubtedly, old chap!

>_> Yeah, you people stereotyping us british being all posh and drinking tea. I don't even like tea, or coffee for that matter. I much prefer colder beverages, like Pepsi Max or Red Bull.

:D

In America, does milk really come in jugs? o.o

Hehe, there are a tonne of Canada jokes. Too many that I could ever think of.

Apparently we all live in igloos, drink beer, like hockey, have pet polar bears, and say things like "eh?" and "aboot." While in reality, only one of those apply to me. Can you guess what it is, eh? :P

I've only ever heard "aboot" from Americans faking a Canadian accent, btw. =P

YOU HAVE A PET POLAR BEAR?
:O

Joking. xD

Anyway, I live in Florida. Apparently where we inbreed and all the old folks live and reminisce about WWII.

I scoff at your offer for food of the posh variety. Instead, let us feast upon the delicious flavour of battered Haddock and chips; with a large dolloping of Ketchup, all the while spashing salt and vinegar upon the lightly browned fish batter for it to obtain a delicious flavour.

Yeah, there's another one: Fish and Chips. I actually don't like Fish and Chips very much, I prefer fish such as: salmon, prawn and in the odd case; crab.
