Coming from a person who lives in pretty much the only developed sect in the arid midwest, I'd largely have to agree with you excluding Colorado Springs, Denver, Provo, Salt Lake City, Albequerque, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, and… that's about it. Everything else is pretty much cowboy territory from what I've seen, and by no means meager. Lovely natural tourist attractions, they are. :D

Everyone knows werewolves are cooler than vampires. (excluding the twilight ones. Werewolves and vampires sucked alike in those movies.)

also The Void i think if they bite each other the zombie becomes a zompire, and the vampire is prolly getting digested by the zombie
 
That's actally some pretty interesting food for thought right there...
But I'd think the zombie pretty much wouldn't really care whereas the vampire might get injured worse
