iPhone/iPod Touch Games

I don't know how many of you actually have either of these iPod products, but I've got a Touch and I know a few others that have them also, so what are your opinions on the games that Apple allows to be released to the App Store? :D

I'm fairly satisfied with the quality of games that come out for the Touch.

I've got some great ones like Rolando, Tap Tap Revenge (2 and Dance), Tap Defense and Topple. :D

So what games do you all have on your iPhone or Touch? And what other great apps do you have?

The App Store was actually great on the later versions of the 2.x firmware, because you could get the Top Paid/Free in specific categories, not just in the Top 25. It's very simple and good-looking. I just think that those App Store games are a waste of money. I've bought Super Monkey Ball and never play it because it's a waste of time in my opinion. A lot of these iPod/iPhone games kinda suck.

I can say that because I've jailbroken my device and ended up getting five pages worth of apps for free. The only ones I've found good were Rolando, Bejeweled 2 and Hero of Sparta. I also played Pokemon Gold on my device for lulz with the gameboy4iphone off of Cydia. It's hilarious. XD

Most of these apps were obtained through Installous, which installs cracked apps. Jailbreaking is not illegal.

Actually, I wonder if they've made any big changes to the App Store in the upcoming 3.0 firmware. :o

I think some of the updates they've had for Pocket God are rather lame though. XD; The vampire one is rather cool, but it's kinda lame you can only have one. I wish they'd make it so the one that gets bitten can bite the others and stuff.

Oh they got updates for that game? Gotta get that. I love the game but the original didn't have enough features so I stopped playing. XD;

Gotta love killing useless islanders on an island with one tree and a boulder. XD

Yeah, they've added...let's see...a shark that attacks your islanders and vampires and some other fun things. XD; The next "episode" that they'll be releasing is called "A Mighty Wind", so I assume it'll be a hurricane or some sort of weather system that comes out. :D

Well, it's a shame this thread isn't about what you'd use your iPod for, it's for people who have iPhones and iPod Touches who want to post what apps and games they have. :>

Yeah, I tend to only buy free apps. I've got a few that I purchased only because I really enjoyed the Lite/Demo versions, but I don't just go around buying them all like some people. XD;
