Is post count important to you? [Ewww]

Nah, but I do get slightly excited when I hit a high mark.

People with relatively low post counts aren't seen as being as credible as people with 10K+ posts.

This proves to be an annoyance for people like me who prefer post quality over quantity, but after realizing that my arguments would be ignored I took to low-content posting and shameless SPAM to pad my numbers.

Well, I felt pretty happy when I hit the 1000 mark, because I think that was a kinda milestone. I think my own post count is, in a small way, important to me, as I know how I post, so I know what a certain number of posts mean. However, I rarely judge other people on post count because I simply don't know how they post. Ironically enough, if I see someone with a high post count and a recent join date, that just makes me think "If they're posting about twenty posts an hour, how can any of them really be very high quality?" To put it simply: my own post count is important to me but I couldn't really care less about yours

By the way, if I insult Spey then can I be popular too? :D

Well, I don't like to have a particularly low post count. It seems that respect is also gained from that. Even though I disagree with that being the way some people gain respect, you can't say it's not true. But I'm not spamming to get a high post count. I actually do like to post my opinions in a lot of threads. xD I have to say something! Much like this one! :3

I don't usually care about post count (although I don't post very often in places that don't count it), but I do want to raise mine to 300 so I can claim celebrities.

I really don't care about my post count anymore. I used to back in the day. I remember when some sections used to count and I had this large post count. But then when they prune the forum, and make those sections don't count...my posts went right with it. And then I thought...it doesn't matter anymore. I do make sure to make well thought out posts. Even now my posts per day has slowed down, my posts are well thought out.

I would only care post counts if I weren't a supporter. Cause then I'd have to get 5,000 posts just to blog. :|
But, I don't care, now that I'm a supporter. XD;

I don't care about post count.
By the time it would have mattered for me, I already had 1k post count- more than enough to get by.

The only time it ever came up was when some girl laughed in my face over the fact that I mentioned that it was my 1,500th post and said that she passed that mark ages ago.

Needless to say, I still hate that girl's guts.

Oh lol, I used to care incredibly much about post count. Especially when battling friends for highest count XD

Nowadays I couldn't care less. When I join a club or post in Pokémon General, it's actually because I want to say something, not because I want to raise my post count.

Interestingly enough, I don't post in nearly as many OT threads as I used to. I just don't think they're fun anymore................ XD apart from TCTI of course. Because of the nice people and talk.

I don't really, because its not really that fun. I stick to the forums I'm used to.

I would say that post count used to be very important to me but after about the first year of posting, I kinda stopped worrying about it and just started posting when I felt like it, and now just posting to get the count up.

da postcown is veri importent 2 me :DDDDDDDD xd

I like having it high, but... not spamming to get high. :3

As Jesh said, I do like having it fairly high, I feel it gets you a decent amount of respect, but it's not something I strive to increase.

For now, it's important to me. I just want to reach 5,000 and then I'm done caring. After that, it's just back to random posting and lurking. ;3

Yes, postcount is important to me.

(Betcha didn't see that one coming.)

Well, it's not really important to me but... as far as "goals" on PC, there really isn't much for me aside from "make it to top poster" which is a HORRIBLY LAME GOAL but I'm close so I might as well go for it. 8/ Then my next goal will be to bump my posts-per-day to over 10.

I've never really been one to post in forums where my postcount doesn't increase but... that's mostly because there's a reason postcount doesn't increase in those forums. I find it hard to make posts that aren't very substantial (most of the time) so I just avoid those forums in general. @_@

I'm gonna be honest.. so, nah. I can't really say that it does matter to me. :/

Sometimes it's amusing to keep track of, due to the fact that in 4 years I made less posts than I have in the (almost) one year I've been on staff. >_> So that makes me kind of go "Hahaha.. I need a life =w=" at times, buuut that's about it. xD

If it mattered to me, I'd probably post more than I already do (which is too much sometimes, IMO), and I also wouldn't bother using an alt since that takes away from posts on this account. :x
