so, um basicly im a nerd, i only know very basic HTML tags and want to script and that. im 15, how long do you reckon it'd take me to become a scripter? any links?

Well, before you post in here, you should check out the Documents and Tutorials forum in the ROM Hacking section.
There are at least 4-5 tutorials on PokeScripting, and no, it's not that hard. Just takes practise.

well, it's no ride in the park, but it should become simple once you're used to it.
It's pretty simple to get started, just read the tutorials carefully.
By the way Scripting and Html are no way related XD so your HTML knowlodge won't be very helpfull...

Well, its not hard, as long as you practice.

I didnt learn a thing from those tuts
Unknown User111 actually showed me how to script
Its really easy once you understand it
For me and him,its easier than mapping(mapping takes forever)
But the tuts should still help

it only took me 2 weeks to understand basic scripting.
But if you are truly dedicated, then you can learn it in a very few days.;)
Just be inspired to learn.

If you want a really good tutorial for hacking then use itman's, his is the only one that was able to help me script.
