Yeah.. the only potential OHKOer for Wobbuffet would be a fast Dark type that knows Shadow Ball.
CoughWeavileCough.
Or if you wanna get technical, any powerful Dark move.
Back on topic, like I said, dude.. if you want people to battle you lose the Wobbuffet.
No one likes a punching bag that delivers it right back.
Umm, any Wobbeffet carries both Mirror Coat and Counter, I believe - and it doesn't get locked into either move when they use it or anything like that. No way to predict that, as it simply isn't the case. (And if it was, Encore would negate it). Plus - those two moves go last anyway in the turn.I did say potential one hit KO.
Actually, the most powerful Dark move in the game is Judgement with Dark Plate attached to Arceus.
But if you don't count ubers, then sure, Tyranitar.
It doesn't have to be Shadow Ball.. Since Weavile has good attack, then use Shadow Claw.
Nothing really can OHKO Wobbuffet, that is obvious. But isn't Wobby restricted by the fact it can't use more then one shield at a time?
[I don't know a whole lot about how the shields work.. but I'm assuming only one can be used at a time. Correct me if I'm wrong.]
So let's say it uses Mirror Coat, then use a physical move. Or if it uses Counter, use a special move.
If your lucky and the person using Wobbuffet doesn't know alot about Weavile then it will use Mirror Coat.
I was suggesting Weavile cause it's fast, and you can probably get Wobby down in either two or three hits..
Though Weavile might go down as well considering the Destiny Bond move.. but then again Weavile would be mainly for Wobby right?
Wobbufet has become uber during the fourth generation, for the simple motive that because of its trait, ruined the battles it entered against the sweeper of turn it used the Mirror Coat or the Counter and the Pokémon adversary eliminated you, accompanied by a Wisher but also wanting from an U-Turner in the OU metagame practically becomes invincible, without counting that he learns very annoying movements as Encore.
In reality a true counter exists:
- Toxic Dugtrio: through his trait it prevents Wobbufet to go out through a change of Pokémon, and it does it die turn after turn because of Toxic.
- Physical Gengar (or other physical ghosts): It doesn't suffer damage from Counter.
- Special Dark Type: It doesn't suffer damage from a Mirror Coat.
