Just read the first chapter of the 5 Centimeters per Second Manga too. I loved it. It was really cute. Though not quite to the same level as the movie, it's pretty much there.
And I finished Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann last night. *q*
 
Just over 15 hours until the least episodes of Madoka are released, my nyaa refreshing rate is going to go through the roof in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Watched KnK5 last night, I think it was the best directed of the film series so far but i did enjoy KnK3 more. UnLtd Häagen Dazs Works was pretty win though.

Gurren Lagann has been known to blow people's eyes out of their sockets.
 
And cause some to spontaneously break out on song on the streets. "Break through the wall, break through the dreeeeeeeeam!".

Also, Madoka is officially finished. I shall be staying away until /a/ until I have them watched. It would be just like me to get spoilered.
 
It's ok, but it really is overrated. They wasted like 4~ episodes just on one character crying.

But episode 10 was really good; I wonder if the last two can stay like that
 
I really didn't like Sayaka in normal girl mode, saying that I don't like Madoka that much either, the rest of the girls do make up for them though. It's not a God tier anime like some would have you believe but it really is pretty good, I mean how can magical girls with guns, swords and cross bows be bad?

Almost finished the Kara no Kyoukai series, the stories aren't amazing but the visuals and music really make the series pretty special. I hope the last one lives up to it's reputation.
 
love how mad fans got at gg not releasing the eps "on time" XD and then releasing 12 first, it was great.

Like Madoka, fan base can be a bit annoying, but i can bear with it.
 
Fan-rage is almost always hilarious to watch, as long as you're not on the receiving end of it, I guess. gg do good work as far as I've seen from other series, so I wouldn't be complaining too much.
 
Just as well I went to sleep then, downloading them now. :)

Also, did anyone else get irritated the way Rie Kugimiya said the words "Flame Haze"...just me the? :L
 
I know I'm really late on this one, but the first episode of Hanasaku was pretty good

I don't get the she's a "loose woman" thing though on /a/
 
I think the only reason is it's /a/. How many ****-threads headed by pictures of Sawako or Nagisa have you seen? :L

I've very much liked the start to Iroha, not quite as much as it's direct competition in genres Ano Hana but it's interesting.

I was planning on watching Ano Hana also, the description sounds good
 
Real competition is being in the same time slot on the same day XD The genre may be the same, but the themes are definitely different. I'm currently liking Ano Hana more, because the theme fits more with my personality and mindset.

Speaking of which, I knew that ending to Ano Hana sounded familiar. Looking back, it's the same ending as Kyou no Go no Ni.
 
Meh, we don't have that sort of competition because of torrents, even if we were in Japan watching on TV i'm sure we all know how to hit record. ;)

I'm seriously getting into Samurai Champloo this evening, my body wasn't quite ready for the last scene in episode 14 but yeah, well worthy of all the praise it gets.

Wow, Ano Hana is story of my life minus the ghost part
 
Without playing any of the games would the animated series still be interesting?

And, finished Champloo in record time. Loved the characters, laughed a lot, very good series for those of you that haven't seen it.
