Memochou episode 10, seriously? ;__;

Also agreed, as a fan of Production I.G and the director I was going to check it out but after watching that pv I'm sure it'll be good.
 
Lately I haven't been looking at other anime for a while, apart from my standard lot, but I did see an episode of Toradora a while ago, and I don't know how to feel about it. It wasn't really something I was looking for, so I'm not gonna watch it. I checked out an episode of Mawaru Penguindrum, and I thought it was alright. It seemed to be serious but with the undertone of penguins and hilarity, so I'm gonna try and keep watching it. It's confusing to me though, but I think I understand what it's about. :)
 
Just finished Gosick, and I'd have to say, it's one of the best anime I've seen. 10/10. Just enough mystery, drama and romance for me, with a good ending. Wish there were more anime like it.
 
After the last few episodes I don't even know what Penguindrum is any more, quite unsettling to watch in places.....which I like.

Gosick was hit and miss for me. The main guy annoyed me most of the time and they never really explained how she was able o solve those cases (I presume because she was locked up and only had books to read she became like some sort of detective computer and there wasn't actually any supernatural stuff). She was plenty cute and the ending was really nice though. As you liked that you should definitely check out this seasons Kamisama no Memochou Charry.

One step ahead of you, already have. I've only seen the first episode mind you, but I'll be watching more. Right now since it's the school year, I'm watching about 1-2 episodes a day on weekends in between school work and such. But this weekend, I've no homework so I've been marathoning Gosick.

Penguianimu is a bit weird, I'm half way thru the first episode tho.
 
After the first episode of Memochou it gets a little boring but the last few eps have been really good. Glad you picked up Penguindrum, agreed it is weird but still after the latest ep I think it will be the best anime of the year even ahead of things like Usagi Drop, Star Driver and Mirai Nikki.

I not only started watching Penguianimu, I watched till episode 9. Which is the one that recently aired right? /hasnolife

I found it pretty interesting and funny, it's pretty unique to say the least.

In other anime news....wtf is happening to Yaoi Exorcist? the last few eps have been pretty damn retarded.
 
Unfortunately, it looks like subbing for two old PreCure seasons (Yes Precure 5 and Fresh) has dried up as of late... I hope it isn't an omen since PreCure 5 has had like four different subbing groups that have all folded in the middle of the series...

Still looking for new series to follow since Iroha's gonna be wrapping up soon. Any suggestions for non-fantasy romance or high school setting series?

I've been waiting for those two to be completed before starting as to avoid getting in that situation, I'm sure they'll get done eventually though.

I haven't seen any normal highschool romance series for ages, probably better people to ask for that than me.

Also thought I'd mention a manga I've just finished as it totally wow'd me. Nijigahara Holograph by Inio Asano truly is magnificent and I don't say manga and magnificent in the same sentence very often. Amazing how the guy put together such a story in just 300 pages.

Hopefully... among the PreCure fandom, there's actually talk of the "Yes PreCure 5 curse" because Arienai, and Aesir have both folded mid-series and Eggplant dropped it, all of this happening in the 20-25 stretch of episodes... it's actually kinda freaky. Pretty Cure Splash Subs has made it up to 33 but nothing new in over two weeks.

As for Fresh, it's always been irregular lol

And guess I'll check MAL to find series that are recommended based on what I've already watched.
 
Yeah was a decent ending, the penultimate episode was way better though. Overall I really enjoyed the series and can't wait for the film. 7/10
