The lack of a pattern is really interesting, and gives a certain fluidity often found in fireworks and the likes of such exploding objects. I'm not sure if it was what you were going for, but some streaks (The pink on the left and the blue on the right) kind of go on a tangent from the rest of the exploding colors (Which I very much do like). It kind of does look like a whole galaxy going on behind the character, but perhaps some of the dominating color lines could appear more splattered/swirly/something.

. . . And that was my attempt at critiquing. I hope I helped this time!

I don't actually draw these. I use renders which are basically images that have no background, put them in Photoshop and use effects like smudging to make them look different.

Just wanted to post and say I admire your graphic work. I looked at the pictures through the thread mostly so forgive me if I overlooked the answer to this but what program(s) do you use for your work? I think you do a great job of balancing out the image and designs/colours. It's very inspirational. :)
