You should now have safe access to thousands of new flags and variables. The new flags and variables have a slight overlap, so it would be recommended that certain variables wouldn't be used if using the flags. This small table shows what values are safe.
Code:Flag |Total Flags |Variables |Total Variables 0x2100 - 0x27ff |2048 |0x4200 - 0x4e4f |3152 0x2100 - 0x30ff |4096 |0x4280 - 0x4e4f |3024 0x2100 - 0x37ff |6144 |0x4300 - 0x4e4f |2944 0x2100 - 0x3fff |7936 |0x4370 - 0x4e4f |2784
To avoid confusion, that isn't generally the "JPAN's Saveblock Hack" people are referring to. "JPAN''s Saveblock Hack" is older than that and actually changes the number of bytes that are saved, rather than repurposing bytes that are currently used by the game. THIS is the hack people normally mean: https://www.pokecommunity.com/posts/6993092/ (and I assume that post is missing the relevant attachment) but it explains what is going on.For some reason, it always seems more difficult to find than it should be, but here's the post with the actual hack - you can apply it yourself in about a minute, and the background information is useful for understanding what the hack actually does.
P.S. I'll even quote the relevant parts of that post so there's no confusion:
This should be it; it edits the save-data sizes at 0x083FEC94.Spoiler:I've got one. Or so I think. :)

EDIT: Can anyone check if I attached the right thing? My network's faulting up. And I also am not sure if my attachment does anything. xDD
