5th Gen [June 27] OHA SUTA REVEALS NEW POKEMON!?

You realize that is pretty stupid because...

1) The Pokemon stats and moves are being revamped you have no clue who is good and who is not
2) New Pokemon might be alot better
3) You might be planning for something that never happens
 
i like the looks of the new ones, they look interesting. pokemon is drawing inspiration from new sources, that makes me happy.

as for triple battles, i say why not? as long as there arent too many of them, its fine. or if theres an option to do them in the frontier/tower/whatever, and they arent in the actual game, or what. any way they happen, they look intriguing. sure, its kinda cramped, but meh. im aesthetically laid back, so that doesnt matter much to me.

but im really intrigued by those three in the middle. the cute-ish green jelly thing, the guy with the red crystals coming out, and the black one that looks kinda humanoid. they look the coolest of the newest batch to me.

I know but I am planning one of already 3 pokemon, there stats are being revamped????where in the world did you read that?
It will happen even if it's not for wi-fi I will plan it using my starting team in BW ;)

Isn't it still just a wee bit early to decide on a team? We don't know enough about these Pokemon to make any final decisions on whether they'll be good in-game or competitively. I'm personally going to wait before deciding completely on which Pokemon I'm using, and even then my team might change.

I wouldn't say revamped. It's not like Slowpoke will suddenly become the fastest Pokemon. Still, you don't know their stats, and Pokemon fit into categories for battling based on their stats and moves: walls, Physical/Special sweepers, and so on. That information isn't fully revealed yet, and so lots of people have the opinion to wait for more information.

I'm still waiting on those front sprites and I'm really eager to learn more about the goth looking pokemon. Maybe I'm seeing things but isn't she wearing a diamond ring :<?

Hopefully some clauses will be put in place so that triple battles can't be won in cheap ways, like Explosion built up with Helping Hand. Because it really is cheap to win that way. Maybe there'll be an option to go without them in Wi-Fi. As for in-game, they might be rare, happening only a few times as introduction to the idea.

Well I always make my team out of the first six pokemon I capture so Tsutaja will be part of the trio...and then I need another two...I don't really care for stats as much as others do :), I think triple battles will be as rare as double battles in Hoenn...might we see the appearance of Triplets!!!
 
hmm I am sad to say that i am not liking these new pokemon... they actually look... weird. I will wait for clearer pics but atm...very dissapoint :P

no, it's a joke.

I honestly think the rock one is awesome, and it just makes me like nosepass (you can't seriously think that pokemon has nothing to do with nosepass)
and if that sarcophagus is ground and ghost, and has levitate, the whole metagame is in peril!
 
Double battle = great tripple battle = not so great there are way to many pokes on the field. And a sarcopogas pokemon really? that is just plain dumb :( I must see seriibi to find out more!
 
5 bucks says the Goth looking one will use Curse xD Cutteran is its name! haha and hopefully the middle one is an evolution to Nosepass in the crystal cave we saw in the pre release pics...
 
No, the Sarcophagus Pokemon won't have Levitate, don't worry.

Even if the spirit inside could, it looks like it's restrained inside the sarcophagus.

And the sarcophagus won't levitate so no, it won't have levitate.

They are revamped every generation even just a little but GF did say you won't believe it is still Pokemon... So they are doing something game changing obviously

Well I know they did that between generation 1 and 2 but not really 2-4...
 
I really don't like these Pokemon at all. It might be that Pokemon such as Chiramii, Shimama and Mamepato have lulled me into the idea that they'll all be animal based - but then again, technology versus animals, yeah makes sense. Well, at least... they look more technological than the last batch of new Pokemon. D:

These ones just remind me a little too much of Sinnoh's Pokemon for my liking. But meh, maybe I'll end up liking one out of these.
